The Opportunity:
Own and drive the go-to-market strategy for Deel’s strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is responsible for building and executing a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with the joint priorities of both Deel and AWS. You will serve as the dedicated marketing lead for this partnership—acting as the internal subject matter expert on AWS’s partner ecosystem and GTM motions—ensuring all messaging, campaigns, and activations are tightly aligned and deliver measurable business impact.
You’ll work closely with AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Deel’s Partner Manager for AWS, and AWS marketing teams—while collaborating cross-functionally with other marketing teams, sales, and enablement to deliver high-impact, scalable programs that drive awareness, pipeline, and adoption.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Ownership
- Own and execute the annual and quarterly AWS marketing plan, ensuring alignment with Deel’s strategic goals and AWS’s GTM priorities. 
- Partner with the AWS Partner Manager to define goals, messaging priorities, and integrated go-to-market motions. 
- Lead messaging, use-case development, campaign planning, and marketing reporting—presenting performance results and insights to Deel leadership. 
- Identify and execute on growth opportunities within the AWS partnership, including Marketplace plays, vertical expansion, and co-sell initiatives. 
Campaigns & Content
- Develop and manage integrated co-marketing campaigns—including co-branded assets, webinars, digital demand programs, and paid social—to drive awareness and pipeline growth. 
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams (e.g., digital, content, regional, and comms) to execute campaigns effectively and on time. 
- Build joint messaging and positioning that clearly articulates Deel’s value on AWS Marketplace, emphasizing scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency. 
- Work with Sales Enablement to develop field-ready collateral such as solution briefs, case studies, playbooks, and competitive positioning tools. 
- Oversee Deel’s presence on AWS-owned channels (e.g., AWS Marketplace listings, APN Partner Portal, AWS blogs) ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and impact. 
Event Strategy & Execution
- Identify opportunities for joint speaking engagements, webinars, and thought leadership moments with AWS executives and subject matter experts to elevate Deel’s profile within the AWS ecosystem. 
- Partner with the Strategic Partner Events Manager to share AWS strategy and positioning for inclusion in field activations and executive engagements. 
Field Enablement & Education
- Partner with Enablement to deliver targeted training and readiness sessions so GTM teams can confidently position and sell Deel via AWS Marketplace. 
- Maintain an updated library of AWS partnership materials (e.g., pitch decks, battlecards, win stories) and manage internal comms such as Slack updates and newsletters. 
- Share competitive and market insights that help the field articulate the differentiators of being able to purchase Deel directly on AWS Marketplace—an advantage not always available with competitors.
 
 
Collaboration & Alignment
- Serve as the day-to-day marketing counterpart to the AWS Partner Development Manager and Deel Partner Manager, ensuring tight alignment on co-sell activities, priorities, and timelines. 
- Partner directly with AWS alliance and marketing teams to align messaging, secure approvals, and amplify campaigns across AWS channels. 
- Manage MDF and co-op funding in collaboration with the Director of Partner Marketing, tracking spend, performance, and ROI across all activities. 
- Partner with Marketing Operations to report on marketing-driven SQOs, pipeline, and influenced revenue tied to AWS initiatives. 
Desired qualifications:
- 5–7 years in B2B marketing, with at least 2 years of recent experience in partner or alliance marketing 
- Experience working with or marketing alongside cloud providers or hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated co-marketing campaigns that drive measurable results 
- Skilled collaborator, comfortable operating across marketing, sales, alliances, and enablement teams 
- Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects and stakeholders 
- Data-driven with experience measuring and reporting on marketing performance, pipeline influence, and ROI 
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder, capable of managing senior stakeholders both internally and externally
