What You'll Do Here at Starling Bank
Are you an expert at accelerating customer acquisition growth? We're seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Growth team at Starling. You'll own the performance of our paid digital advertising efforts, working closely with internal teams and our agency partners to deliver exceptional, measurable results.
You'll be the force encouraging our agency partners to constantly test, learn, and scale what drives success. If you thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and are passionate about unlocking growth for Starling, this role is for you.
Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders at our media agency to manage the planning, set up, and execution of performance marketing campaigns.
- Develop Starling’s paid digital advertising approach, focused on driving new customer acquisition and boosting commercial impact.
- Embed a test-and-learn culture with our media and creative agencies, ensuring continuous experimentation is at the core of our work.
- Oversee the performance of our digital advertising campaigns day-to-day, guiding media and creative optimisations through data-led decisions.
- Translate business objectives into digital advertising strategies designed to efficiently reach our target customer segments.
- Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with our agency partners, ensuring strategic alignment and a shared commitment to achieving our growth targets.
- Oversee the development of high-performing digital creative, ensuring that channel expertise is factored into the creative process.
- At least 4 years’ experience in paid digital advertising: proven ability to manage budgets, develop targeting, and oversee creative testing.
- Experience managing an external agency partner: ensuring that meetings are purposeful, projects are well-managed, and briefs are well-constructed.
- A growth mindset. We're looking for someone with a bias to action, who will proactively identify and champion initiatives that can deliver incremental growth for Starling.
- Demonstrated performance marketing track record: experience managing diverse paid digital campaigns and driving measurable business growth.
- You'll possess sharp analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Hands-on media buying experience is not essential, but it is important that you have a strong strategic understanding of how paid digital advertising is bought, managed, and optimised.
