Step into SIR’s social world—be our Jr. Social Marketing Coordinator (Part‑Time, Hourly)!

If you enjoy capturing moments, writing punchy captions, and spotting trends, this role lets you turn that passion into impact across Jack Astor’s®, SCADDABUSH®, Reds®, The Loose Moose®, Duke’s Refresher® + Bar, Edna + Vita, The Antler Room, and Abbey’s Bake House.
What you’ll do
- Publish & engage: Post content to brand channels using approved calendars; jump into comments/DMs with timely, on‑brand replies.
- Create on the go: Capture short videos and photos in‑restaurant (openings, events, limited‑time offers), and draft first‑pass captions.
- Spot what’s trending: Flag viral topics, UGC opportunities, and guest sentiment—bring fresh ideas every week.
- Organize assets: Keep photos, videos, and captions tidy in our shared libraries so campaigns run smoothly.
- Influencer/UGC support: Track deliverables, disclosures, and content rights; keep our creator list up to date.
- Report results: Pull monthly insights and highlight top posts with what worked—and why.
- Collaborate: Partner with the Digital Media Manager and the Marketing team to keep our voice consistent and our calendars on time.
Tools you’ll use
Hootsuite/Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Canva/Adobe (Photoshop/Premiere), CapCut, GA4 + platform analytics with UTM links.
How success is measured

- Engagement rate & reach growth (monthly)
- Response‑time SLAs for comments/DMs
- On‑time posting vs. calendar
- Monthly recap with insights and top‑post analysis
Schedule & location

- Hybrid: Burlington Support Centre + in‑restaurant capture across GTA/Ontario as needed
- Part‑time, hourly with event‑based evening/weekend shifts

- Comfort shooting quick, authentic social content on your phone
- Organization, reliability, and a love of learning new tools
- Flexibility to work some evenings/weekends during brand moments
- Reliable transportation; ability to travel to nearby locations for content capture
- Restaurant experience (asset) and social content examples (asset)
