The Digital Marketing Lead serves as a strategic digital leader for PrimeSource Building Products, responsible for driving the vision, execution, and continuous evolution of digital strategy across our portfolio of brands. This role will lead efforts to grow brand presence, consumer engagement, and measurable business impact through digital channels.
The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a results-driven executor, setting the roadmap for digital growth while ensuring best-in-class execution. They will oversee the development of multi-brand digital initiatives, manage agency and vendor partnerships, and guide internal teams toward consistent, impactful brand storytelling across digital platforms.
This leader will champion the digital evolution of PrimeSource, working cross-functionally to align brand strategies, identify growth opportunities, and establish digital-first standards that elevate PrimeSource and its brands in the marketplace.
Qualifications
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall leader for the digital marketing strategies and roadmap - guiding growth initiatives and priorities while driving internal alignment
- Lead the evolution of the company’s digital strategy across multiple brands, ensuring each brand’s digital presence is differentiated while aligned with the company’s overarching vision.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-performing digital experiences, including websites, landing pages, and user journeys that drive conversion.
- Manage agency and vendor partners to ensure flawless execution, alignment with strategy, and maximum ROI from external resources.
- Oversee the development and optimization of digital campaigns across web, SEO/SEM, paid media, social media, and emerging channels.
- Provide direction for campaign execution, including creative briefs, kick-off meetings, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication.
- Establish digital KPIs, track performance, and deliver clear ROI reporting across all brands.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and digital lead generation.
- Mentor and influence internal stakeholders by sharing digital expertise, building alignment, and ensuring teams adopt a digital-first mindset.
Education, Experience, and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with proven leadership in managing multi-brand strategies and external partners.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in developing digital strategies that grow brand presence and drive measurable business results.
- Strong background in SEO/SEM, paid media, social media, digital advertising, and content strategy.
- Experience managing agency partners, negotiating contracts, and holding vendors accountable for performance.
- Ability to inspire, influence, and guide internal stakeholders across departments.
- Proficiency in digital analytics and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Pardot, Workfront, etc.).
- Experience with A/B testing, personalization, and optimizing conversion funnels.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
