About the Opportunity
Join our Fitness and Wellbeing Vertical as Community Marketing Specialist to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every conversation we have, every code line we write and every interface we design is another opportunity for us to enrich our customers’ experiences.
Xplor Gym’s mission is to provide gyms with a single place to manage and grow their businesses efficiently with an easy-to-use platform that empowers gyms to keep members healthy for longer.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing – Xplor Gym ANZ, you’ll help connect, grow, and celebrate our community of customers and partners.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting all Xplor Gym community initiatives, both in-person and virtual, across Australia and New Zealand
- Creating, managing and cultivating both current Xplor Gym client relationships as well as potential prospects
- Developing and maintaining our client referral, retention, and partnership programs
- Curate content with a storytelling perspective from our Xplor Gym Community to power our brand narrative
- Shaping and supporting our social strategy to showcase client successes and community moments
- Strengthening Xplor Gym’s brand presence and awareness in market
Location: In this position, you can work from home 100% in Australia, provided you have full working rights. However, preference will be given to Melbourne where our office and majority of the team are based. Some in-office time will be required for events and collaboration.

Required qualifications for this role:
- Event and Experience Management: Ability to create and manage both large and small events and experiences (IRL & Virtual)
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva
- Strong content curation skills and comfortable being on the mic or in front of a camera !
- Possesses social media proficiency and can execute on the Xplor Gym social media strategy
- Possesses strong collaboration skills, strategic thinking and problem solving skills
- 2-3 years of experience in the health and fitness industry or in Health and Fitness adjacent industry.
- Experience using project management tools like Asana or Monday
- High level of integrity and organisational responsibility
- Strong connection to the Xplor Mission and Core Values
- Relationship Management: Possesses ability to create, deepen and nurture relationships.
- Strong communication skills: Expert listener and intentional speaker
