Role Overview
The Digital Content & App Coordinator reports into the Digital Content & Email Marketing Manager, working closely with the rest of the Digital Content Marketing team, Marketing team and wider teams across the business.
The role is responsible for coordinating Space NK’s best-in-class content on spacenk.com and Space NK’s mobile app, alongside general administrative tasks. Key duties include creating content briefs, owning the build of app content and supporting the Digital Content Assistant in the onsite content build process. Directly line managing the Digital Content Assistant, you will also be responsible for nurturing their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities – Digital Content
- Coordinating the digital content production process ensuring briefing of all site content is completed on time and to our requirements by all relevant departments
- Regular maintenance of the marketing calendar ensuring all launches, promotions and storytelling content are reflected
- Conducting performance analysis of homepages, content landing pages, and web push notifications. Responsible for updating and distributing internal digital content reports, while delivering actionable insights for weekly and monthly Trade meetings. Additionally, providing support for email performance reporting
- Support the Digital Content Assistant in coordination of user generated social content (UGC) campaigns working to deadlines outlined in critical path – including selecting creators, arranging send outs and managing the publishing of content to site
- Coordinate content planning; brainstorming ideas to ensure our content is best in class and driving business goals
- Supporting with ad hoc digital content and email marketing tasks.
- Keep up to date with industry trends to ensure Space NK are at the forefront of innovation
Key Responsibilities – App
- Coordinate the app content calendar including home screen content and push notifications based on key launches and promotions, ensuring plans are adapted based on performance and changing commercial priorities
- Brief in-app home screen content and push notifications liaising with Copy & Creative to ensure deadlines are met and content is to a high-standard
- Coordinate the production of content through internal sign off, then build and test content thoroughly before scheduling
- Set up customer segments to ensure push notifications and app content are targeted to the right customers
- Monitor and report on engagement with home screen content and push notifications, sharing and using learnings moving forward
- Monitor competitor app activity and share with relevant stakeholders
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous experience in digital content and/or mobile apps is preferred, with experience in both areas considered highly desirable but not essential
- Solid understanding of Content Marketing and key Marketing channels
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- A problem-solving approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively to all levels of the business
- The ability to prioritise, use initiative and perform under pressure
- A proactive and flexible approach
