Job Title: Manager, Digital Marketing
A little bit about our team:
In this role, you will sit inside of the Digital Marketing team within the Strategic Marketing department, reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing. You will work closely with various internal departments (Marketing, Analytics, Creative, Streaming, + more), along with artists, managers, and external partners to create, strategize, and maximize opportunities in the marketplace for the entire Warner Music Nashville roster. You will work with an energetic, fast-paced team of people committed to driving awareness and engagement for our artists and their music.
Your role:
The Manager, Digital Marketing is focused on maximizing digital marketing opportunities, developing artists’ audiences, and spearheading fan engagement campaigns for our roster. The Manager will develop and execute digital rollout strategies, adhering to best practices and staying ahead of industry trends. You will also educate our artists and their teams about best practices, emerging trends, and new platforms. You will communicate directly with artists and their teams to create consistent strategies for the development of their online communities and to help bring their music to existing and future fans.
Here you’ll get to:
Brainstorm, plan, and execute digital marketing campaigns and oversee asset creation and delivery
Must be willing and able to interface directly with artists and managers to train and update them on emerging digital tools, provide them with strategic social recommendations, and advise on engagement best practices within all social platforms
Use Sodatone along with other reporting tools and work with the analytics team to help with social database maintenance, social analytics reporting, and short-form content UGC analytics
Closely monitor audio asset delivery to TikTok and other social platforms and work with production team to troubleshoot and ensure proper delivery
Work alongside E-Commerce team to promote sales initiatives and priority promotions via web content, email marketing, and social messaging (Album pre-sales, Holiday promotions, etc...)
Work with the WMX Artist Services team to oversee email marketing strategy for music releases, videos, announcements, tour dates, or other significant events and maintain best practices in email marketing, CRM strategy, and audience development
Collaborate with Director, Audience and Web Marketing Strategy to ideate and execute data acquisition campaigns, fan engagement campaigns, and sweepstakes
Assist the Sr. Director of Digital Content and Partnerships to help execute activations with digital partners including crossposting, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Lives, and various social takeovers
Manage content flow (including but not limited to copy, videos, photos, and audio) with artist, artist management, WMN Creative, WMN Commercial Partnerships team, WMN Artist Development team, and 3rd party content aggregators
Provide direction for overall use of content throughout: websites, social media, 3rd party sites, etc.
Be responsible for one direct report (Coordinator, Digital Marketing) and approve social calendars, email schedules, content, and other tasks delegated to Coordinator
Must be willing to respond to and troubleshoot unexpected digital obstacles (including but not limited to glitches, hacking issues, login and password issues) and educate artist and management teams to prevent obstacles from happening
Stay up-to-date on trends and emerging digital tools, including CapCut templates, Canva Pro templates, etc., and provide creative ways to optimize these tools across artist and label social profiles
Work closely with Manager, Ad Strategy to amplify social content in the advertising space
About you:
3+ years of experience managing multiple social media platforms for an artist or brand, including copywriting and content creation
You are passionate about music
You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
You enjoy building and fostering relationships across teams, departments, and with external partners
You are organized, analytical, thoughtful, and a self-starter
You are proactive and able to balance multiple projects at once while adhering to tight deadlines
You have a strong work ethic, organization skills, and extreme attention to detail
You have exemplary written and verbal communication skills
You can adhere to deadlines, execute tasks, and handle multiple, diverse assignments simultaneously
Must produce quality work, be a self-starter, and take responsibility/ownership of tasks
You are able to work in a team setting and be highly collaborative
You are driven to be innovative, think outside the box, and suggest improvements within scope of work
