A day in the life:
We’re looking for a creative and energetic full-time Paid Social Strategist to join our team with a passion for performance marketing and team management. Experience in TikTok and Meta Ads platforms is a must! Paid Social Strategist is responsible for the performance, strategy, growth and execution from A-Z of paid social accounts. You will lead and execute upon a paid social strategy that helps reach a business' overarching goals and work closely to optimize strategies for our TikTok clients. You will work closely with the team and our clients making sure we are hitting or surpassing monthly performance goals, as well as collaborating with the creative, organic, and influencer/partnerships teams to ensure we are best-in-class across the channel
Responsibilities:
- Full ownership and execution of performance marketing via paid social platforms
- Effectively executing builds and production A-Z with redundancy across channels
- Channels include TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, and LinkedIn where applicable. Heavier emphasis on TikTok and Meta
- Lead execution of optimizations concerning performance improvements relative to goals
- Effectively own strategic communication internally and externally for clients and client teams
- Proactive internal communication with team on performance, strategy, recommendations, deliverables, and action items
- Autonomous external communication with clients for performance, tactical and strategic items, updates, and recommendations via email, calls, and/or Slack (as applicable)
- Excellent marketing and business strategy acumen
- Complete understanding of the marketing funnel and how to execute via paid social
- Full understanding of the eCommerce model and basic lead gen strategies
- Ability to navigate roadblocks and adapt strategy to changes in landscape to achieve desired results
- Ownership of performance reporting and strategy communication
- Execute performance reporting A-Z with excellent presentation creation capabilities
- Autonomously presents performance reports and recaps, facilitating strategic conversations with clients (verbally and written)
- Ability to leverage data to tell a story and articulate results to clients and key stakeholders with clear next steps
- Present forward-thinking plans and execute to drive business results
- Operating as an effective member of the team for both department and account teams
- Contributing to a constructive and effective work environment in line with PD core values
- Actively participate in the growth and development of junior talent where applicable
- Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
- Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department

Requirements:
- 1-2 years of digital marketing; Agency experience a plus
- 1+ years of experience with Direct Response marketing specifically in E-Commerce; Lead Gen and B2B a plus
- 1+ years experience with Meta Ads and TikTok ads for direct response campaigns; additional platforms a plus (LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads, etc)
- 1+ years experience leading paid social strategy for direct response marketing efforts
- 1+ years experience with Google Analytics, Shopify; other technical platforms a plus
- 1 year experience client facing and handling communications
- Excellent Excel skills with clear understanding of advanced Excel features
- Excellent data analytics skills
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Managing a full workload indicated by one or more of the following:
- $26k MRR or
- 6 owned clients.
- Below 10% client churn rat
Most Important Things (MITs):
- Delivering top-tier product, as well as owning strategic direction and channel communication for designated accounts, overseeing effective reporting and execution of channel strategy
