Position Summary The Copywriter will develop evergreen and seasonal copy for assigned projects supporting EO Products two brands, EO and Everyone. As part of the internal Brand Studio team, this partner will be the primary brand storyteller - working in both digital and retail channels to engage consumers and grow the brand presence.
This is a hybrid part-time position. Attendance on-site on the EO campus will be scheduled as needed. Project partner must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Responsibilities
- Partner with marketing and design team to meet the needs of briefs and deliver on-strategy content and copy
- Articulate differentiated brand voice and expression for EO and Everyone brands, developing copy that addresses each brand’s audience
- Collaborate effectively and drive projects from creative conception to execution
- Proof and edit all printed materials to ensure accurate, error-free content
- Manage deadlines and feedback via Asana; participate in a bi-weekly check-in to kick-off projects and feedback.
- Partner with QA and Regulatory teams to ensure all copy properly adheres to trademark laws, cosmetics regulation, OTC drug regulation, and other certifying bodies’ guidelines
Skills/Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Openness and willingness to receive and implement input from all departments, yet also know how to make the case for your work/approach and advocate for your ideas
- Eagerness to learn quickly about the personal care industry through research and guidance
- Detail-orientation and meticulousness, ability to uphold quality standards of style and grammar to produce high-quality edited content
- Solid knowledge of software tools: Office Suite and Google Suite
- Effective time management skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects successfully under tight or changing timelines
- Be a subject matter expert and educate teams on digital writing best practices
- Desire to work in a dynamic environment of a fast-growing company
- Enthusiasm for the personal care industry is highly desired, but not required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Writing, Communications, or related field desired
- 2 to 5 years of experience desired, writing including brand campaigns, eCommerce, email campaigns, social media, and blogs
- Industry experience is a big plus!
