Job Details:
The Specialist, Digital Media Paid Search, is responsible for executing paid search campaigns. The candidate will work closely with the Manager of Paid Search, as well as agency partners, to ensure Mattress Firm campaigns are planned and optimized across our current platforms, DV360, Yahoo! and Criteo, as well as any future DSPs that are added. Experience in one or more of these platforms is critical to the role as you'll be expected to perform a variety of tasks including: setting up campaigns and conducting QA, pulling and analyzing large data sets, making optimizations to campaigns, reporting and ad trafficking.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee Paid Search channels from start to finish, inclusive of ad trafficking, auditing campaigns across Google and Bing and reporting.
- Manage all aspects of campaign configuration, launch and ongoing optimization – including strategy, ad management, data-driven optimization, budget management and ad trafficking.
- Perform data analysis and provide insights through regular reporting to support the Manager of Paid Search, whom this role reports to.
- On a daily basis, ensure campaigns are meeting or exceeding defined benchmarks and KPIs. Track and manage budgets regularly to ensure campaigns are on track to deliver the allocated budget. Escalate issues to the immediate manager.
- Discuss strategy and execution of campaigns, as well as results, with cross functional team members to accelerate client conversion objectives.
- Adept at sourcing data, identifying trends and recommending optimizations to achieve campaign outcomes.
- This role ensures that campaigns are executed flawlessly and accurately from planning, gathering of assets, launch, and measurement to achieve an optimal return on investment.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Professional Experience
- 2+ years in Paid Search execution. Agency experience is a plus!
- Demonstrate proficient experience in working within Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, SA360, and Google Analytics. Tableau and Dataroma experience preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and advanced skillset in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.

- Experience managing Paid Search campaigns via Google AdWords and Bing AdCenter.
- Understanding of Google Analytics and discovering insights within.
- Experience selecting keywords, writing ad copy and uploading elements to engines.
- Understanding of data collection and flow via pixels and reporting of performance.
- Experience tracking and attributing ROAS and ROIs.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter.
- Strong decision-making stills that are rooted in data.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

- High level of organizational and planning skills.

Compensation:
Competitive pay range of $70,000 - $75,000 per year * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
