Opportunity to work as a co-op/summer student within the Enterprise Social Media department at RBC.
What is the opportunity?
Are you interested in the opportunity to work as a co-op/summer student within the Enterprise Social Media department at RBC? We have an exciting opportunity to offer qualified candidates – one that provides the selected individual with a wide range of opportunities to support the Enterprise Social Media team across several portfolios, including personal banking, credit cards and sponsorships in sports and entertainment.
What will you do?
- Assist team in building content ideas for our enterprise social channels
- Support team with influencer partnerships and programming
- Conduct and share research on industry insights and the latest social platform trends
- Coordinate and support content producer on set as required
- Build and deliver social media performance metric reports as needed
What do you need to succeed?
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in marketing, communications, or business-related discipline
- Previous work experience in social media, digital marketing, brand marketing, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated familiarity with social platforms and trends
- Strong leadership sense and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
- Skilled in communications and writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills and time management
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
- Ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience using Adobe Creativity Suite is an asset
Please note:
In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
