Overview
Lead organic expansion by leveraging deep SEO expertise and CRO mastery to engineer creative, self-sustaining growth loops.
This role demands a data-driven innovator who turns insights into scalable user acquisition, conversion uplift, and retention strategies with rapid execution.

You Will Own
- SEO & Organic Channel Ownership
- Perform comprehensive keyword research, competitive analysis, and topic clustering using Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console to drive targeted organic traffic growth.
- Oversee content strategy including on-page optimization, pillar-cluster architectures, publishing cadences, and backlink acquisition through outreach and partnerships.
- Continuously audit and refine technical SEO elements to enhance site authority, crawl efficiency, and long-term search visibility.
- CRO & Full-Funnel Optimization
- Architect and build high-performance landing pages (Framer expertise preferred) with integrated A/B, multivariate testing, and heatmapping to maximize conversion rates across acquisition to retention.
- Dive into behavioral analytics via GA4, PostHog, or similar tools to diagnose drop-offs, optimize user flows, CTAs, forms, and personalization triggers.
- Align SEO-driven traffic with post-click experiences to create seamless, high-converting journeys that reduce friction and boost LTV.
- Craft compelling, SEO-optimized copy for landing pages, long-form content (blogs, guides, case studies), and nurturing assets that convert search intent into revenue.
- Collaborate with product, design, and content teams to maintain unified messaging, GTM positioning, and brand consistency.
- Lifecycle Marketing & Automation
- Design and manage sophisticated email/CRM flows for onboarding, engagement, upsell, winback, and referrals, ensuring top-tier deliverability.
- Implement no-code automations with Zapier, n8n, Make, or equivalent to trigger personalized sequences based on user behavior, product usage, and funnel stage.
- Integrate data layers across CRM, analytics, and product events for real-time nurturing and retargeting.
- Growth Experimentation & Strategy
- Ideate, test, and scale inventive low-cost experiments including co-marketing, affiliate programs, influencer collaborations, community initiatives, and viral referral loops to minimize CAC.
- Validate hypotheses rapidly (idea-to-insight in days) using structured frameworks, prioritizing scalable organic levers.
- Contribute to team processes, documentation, hiring, and knowledge sharing to support sustained scaling.
What Success Looks Like
- Demonstrated impact scaling B2B SaaS from $0 to $1-5M ARR through SEO/CRO, with quantifiable results in organic traffic, CVR improvements, CAC reduction, pipeline velocity, and MRR growth.
- Proven ability to prototype and launch experiments in days, not weeks, often accelerated by AI tools for research, content, and analysis.
- Portfolio of case studies showcasing cross-channel growth loops and measurable business outcomes.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years hands-on in SEO and CRO within competitive B2B environments, with a track record of driving organic revenue.
- Proficiency in core tools: GA4/PostHog (analytics), Ahrefs/SEMrush/GSC (SEO), Framer (design), campaign managers/automation platforms.
- Strong fundamentals in attribution, funnel analytics, and growth modeling; comfortable with ambiguity in fast-paced startups.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in team settings.
Compensation
- The annual salary range for this role is CAD 100k - 150k with performance-based bonus at the discretion of management.
