About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Brand & Campaigns team.
This is a broad, generalist role for someone who enjoys variety, ambiguity and pace. No two days are the same; one day you might be shaping campaign communications, the next working with Commercial on a new perk, and the next responding to a supply opportunity or market shift.
You’ll work across:
- Multiple projects at once
- 2 markets (UK & Ireland)
- 3 products (Beach, City Breaks and Cruise)
This role is ideal for someone with a varied marketing background who’s comfortable switching gears, joining the dots across teams and rolling their sleeves up to get things done.
What you’ll be doing
Campaigns & communications
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across brand and performance channels.
- Brief internal creative teams and channel managers with clear, concise direction.
- Ensure messaging is accurate, on-brand and aligned to commercial priorities.
- Work closely with CRM, Performance, Social, Content, SEO, Product & Tech and Legal teams to deliver joined-up communications.
Perks & propositions
- Play a key role in shaping and delivering our Perks, a core point of difference for On the Beach.
- Work with Commercial and Partnerships teams to bring new perks to life.
- Help manage the end-to-end process: from idea and approval through to product integration and marketing.
- Ensure perks are clearly positioned within campaigns, creative and customer comms.
Commercial & supply collaboration
- Act as a key contact point for Supply, keeping close to what’s selling and where opportunities are emerging.
- Use insight from Supply and performance data to inform messaging, campaign timing and priorities.
- Be responsive to fast-moving commercial needs and last-minute opportunities.
Planning, performance & delivery
- Support the management of the marketing and communications calendar.
- Balance planned activity with reactive work as priorities shift.
- Use performance data and insight to help refine messaging and campaign execution.
- Work confidently across different markets and products, adapting comms as needed.
You’ll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge and experience
- At least 5 years’ experience & a proven track record in planning & executing multi-channel marketing campaigns in a generalist marketing role, ideally in eCommerce, retail or travel.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and confidently bring together cross-functional teams to move projects from idea to delivery.
- Experience in briefing & managing agency relationships
- Key understanding of marketing & campaign principles and their application
- Comfortable working across multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Experience briefing creative or channel teams and working cross-functionally.
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of how marketing supports trading and growth.
- Happy operating in a fast-paced environment where plans can change.
Skills & qualities we’re looking for
- Educated to degree level or with relevant professional qualifications (i.e. CIM) OR relevant travel industry experience
- Adaptable, flexible and curious — you enjoy variety and problem-solving.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who builds strong relationships across teams.
- A creative flair and passion
- Excellent presentation skills and along with a competency in office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
- Data-aware, with a willingness to learn and use insight to inform decisions.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and follows things through.
- Experience in travel is a bonus, but not essential.
