Position Summary
Responsible for developing and implementing innovative digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Analyzes market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to create data-driven campaigns across digital channels. This position focuses on strategy, planning, and optimization across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage multi-channel campaigns across web, social media, email, and mobile platforms
- Continuously optimize strategies based on performance data and industry trends
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze campaign performance using various analytics tools
- Generate insightful reports and recommendations for stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for improvement and growth in digital marketing efforts
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments
- Provide strategic recommendations based on research findings
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinators to ensure cohesive implementation of digital marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with design teams to align marketing strategies with brand standards
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors when necessary
Technology and Innovation
- Stay up-to-date with emerging digital marketing technologies and best practices
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and platforms to enhance marketing effectiveness
- Lead the implementation of new marketing technologies and processes
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A combination of education and extensive experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on strategy development
- Casino/Resort or hospitality experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Proven success with managing a digital portfolio of website application properties, developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable results, and leading digital marketing, web development, and marketing automation programs.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation
- In-depth knowledge and skill of automated communication journeys leveraging email, landing pages, SMS, retargeting, push notifications, and more within a marketing automation tool and web content management system.
- Advanced understanding and experience using marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.)
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present key findings (quantitative and analytic skills) and then apply them to future programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, read, write, and speak English fluently
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to work across different audiences, personalities, and experience levels.
- Creative, responsible, high-energy, and eager to work with other departments to support their marketing needs.
- Apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or graphic form.
- Work periodically under conditions of extreme urgency (creating higher levels of job stress).

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a high-volume 24/7, 365-day Resort/Casino environment and requires working under the following conditions.
- Exposure to secondhand smoke in designated casino areas.
- Moderate to loud noise levels and flashing lights, consistent with a gaming environment.
- Continuous operation in high-surveillance areas monitored by video for compliance and security.
- Fast-paced work with frequent interruptions, high guest interaction, and shifting operational priorities.
- Shift work, holidays, weekends, or nights may be assigned.

Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES In addition to the other duties described herein, every team member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Employment is contingent on receiving and maintaining adequate licensing, including any required gaming license.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino.
- Perform the duties described in compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Casino.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not encouraged or permitted to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco products.
- Refer to the Internal Control System and Policy Manuals for guidance.
- Take the appropriate steps to report exceptions, fraud, acts of wrongdoing, and potential violations of regulations or internal controls to the appropriate levels of management.
- Uphold high standards of ethical behavior, demonstrate an understanding of the impacts of problem gambling, and have knowledge of the Casino’s programs to address problem gambling.
- Establish rules for promotions and events that conform to Casino policies and regulatory requirements.
