Company Details
Risilience is seeking to employ Head of Marketing to join us in our mission to help tackle climate change, one of the biggest systemic threats facing the planet today.
We have developed a unique modelling and analytics SaaS platform to help international corporations assess their risks and opportunities presented by rising temperatures, climate-related policy, and emerging technologies in our changing world.
Our SaaS solutions help companies produce climate-related compliance analytics, navigate their pathway to Net Zero, and perform scientifically-based cost benefit comparisons of emission reduction strategies versus their risks. We have a blue-chip client base with a growing list of globally recognized brands. The pedigree of our solutions is supported by our deep academic roots that go back to the Business School in the University of Cambridge (UK) and the close ties we maintain to the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies.
Our business received Series B funding in early 2023 and is growing rapidly towards profitability. Benefits include competitive basic salary, including stock options, remote and flexible working, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Role Details
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Marketing will define and lead the Go-To-Market vision for our business, driving growth through an account-focused approach (ABM), enterprise demand generation, and key brand initiatives.
The Head of Marketing is part of our executive management team, involved in defining our target market, creating our brand, and building the funnel for engagement through to sales conversion. Marketing works in close partnership with Sales and Product leadership, to ensure the right marketing initiatives are in place for an efficient and profitable growth model. The Head of Marketing will have responsibility for our marketing strategy, support of our sales team, inbound lead generation, events, and marketing communications. The Head of Marketing will manage the marketing budget of external spend (Approx £500K in 2025) and decide the prioritization of spend, in collaboration with Sales and Finance. The Head of Marketing will manage a team of four people, whose responsibilities include content and brand, digital strategy, events, and technical writing.
We expect the Head of Marketing to engage with key stakeholders within the business, including our board of directors and investors, and specifically to be a partner to our sales team in the rapid growth phase of our business.
The role requires a strategic thinker with proven experience in growing businesses from early stage through to profitability. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a passion for our mission of sustainability and managing climate change.
Our company is headquartered in Cambridge, UK. We operate as a virtual team but we value presence in the office particularly for team leaders.
