The Role
The Tactical & Dealer Marketing Executive role is a great opportunity to get involved in a number of key areas including national campaigns for Tactical, including key activity across the website, social and radio.
You will support the Manager – Tactical and Dealer Marketing with the development and implementation of Kia UK Limited’s (KUK) Tactical and Dealer Marketing plans as well as being involved in Dealer Events and some elements of eCRM with the aim of building a loyal Kia customer database, driving sales and converting prospects to next generation Kia owners.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
General
- Working in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders and supporting the team to ensure that the marketing programmes and strategies are developed to the business objectives.
- Supporting the creation of bespoke marketing materials, within agreed strategic requirements for usage.
- Involved in the creative process – from brief to approval and undertake the development of materials.
- Advertising – Supporting the development of Key Visuals for both National and Dealer templates
- Media – Involved in the creation of Radio, Social and other media channels for specific campaigns.
- Digital formats - Website content creation, monitoring of key metrics and the generation of HTML e-mail campaigns/templates for National and Dealer.
- Events & Roadshows – Support a range of events including national, regional and dealer events.
- PR – work with the PR team to identify and implement opportunities and events.
- Provide regular reporting to stakeholders on the success of actions by channel.
- Working with various stakeholders and Field Teams to support dealer communications about national and local level activity.
Tactical & Dealer Marketing
- Ownership of Dealer Communications including newsletters, notifications, presentations, monthly webinars and quarterly workshops.
- Ownership of the Dealer Social Media Calendar, including creative and post copy recommendations.
- Ownership of Dealer Marketing Portal content and reporting.
- Ownership of the Website Customer Journey, linking our media & reporting to enhance conversion rates through Tactical Offers section.
- Assist in the development of national tactical campaign, from a creative and media perspective.
- Assist in the implementation of the dealer marketing creative and media programs, including all in-dealer marketing materials, e.g. POS.
- Assist the Tactical & Dealer Marketing Manager in developing dealer marketing tools including ad serves, paid and non-paid media channel planning, digital, KPI and ROI.
- Manage finance raising, reporting and budget tracking.
- Align with the Channel Marketing Assistant Manager on van marketing activity.
About You
- Educated to degree level or relevant experience.
- Automotive experience required and an understanding of project management is highly beneficial.
- Broad spectrum of automotive knowledge across functions.
- High energy, driven, self-starter and well-motivated.
- Demonstrate effectiveness in working cross functionally.
- Organised with a high level of attention to detail and results driven.
- Demonstrates resilience, flexibility and willingness to explore different paths to achieve outcome.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules and in preparing estimates.
- Adjust quickly to new circumstances, challenges and ability to handle ambiguity.
- A team player working on multiple projects supporting various initiatives.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Location/Travel
The Kia UK Head Office is based in Walton-on-Thames, just a 5 minute walk from the station. We also have plenty of on-site parking for drivers, including EV charging ports.
