Join our ambitious growth marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract, where budgets are set to increase significantly next year. You'll be working in a dynamic environment focused on performance marketing, driving leads directly through Google Ads and Meta. If you're comfortable managing performance campaigns from day one, you'll fit right in, as we already excel in this area and are keen to grow further.
We’re looking for someone who can help us expand into brand performance. That means running smart, measurable campaigns aimed at increasing awareness, consideration, and intent, especially on YouTube and paid social. You’ll play a key role in balancing the immediate wins of performance marketing with the long-term benefits of brand building. If you can navigate both aspects and measure impact beyond just impressions and clicks, you’ll make a real difference here.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage and optimise large-scale campaigns across Google Ads and Meta, ensuring performance against KPIs like cost per lead, conversion rate, and ROI.
- Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to refine targeting, creative, and bidding strategies, while ensuring compliance with regulations and brand guidelines.
- Develop testing frameworks such as A/B and creative testing to drive continual learning and campaign improvement.
- Plan and execute brand awareness campaigns on YouTube and paid social, focusing on metrics like ad recall and consideration uplift.
- Work with insights teams to interpret data, identify trends, and translate results into actionable business recommendations.
- Build clear reports to demonstrate campaign effectiveness, combining platform metrics with brand lift studies and survey data.
- Contribute to overall paid media strategy, exploring new digital opportunities, formats, and industry trends.
- Bring strong experience in paid media, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to optimisation and innovation.
Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, including performance and brand campaigns, preferably in the insurance or finance industry within a B2C context.
- Demonstrated expertise in YouTube advertising, managing both brand and performance campaigns.
- Strong GA4 and reporting skills, with the ability to analyse data and track campaign effectiveness.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives across regions simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and present insights effectively.
- Curious and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Attention to detail, highly organised, and able to prioritise under tight deadlines.
- Creative thinker with communication skills, demonstrated through developing campaigns and marketing literature using Microsoft Office and Adobe.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
