Job Description
As the Marketing Manager, CX and Conversion, you’ll lead the development and delivery of lead generation, lead nurture and applicant conversion strategies across marketing automation and digital marketing platforms.
You’ll design personalised, data driven customer journeys and performance-led campaigns that enhance the customer journey, reflecting Griffith University’s values and strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with privacy and data governance requirements.
You will leverage Griffith University’s marketing technology stack including the Customer Data Platform (Tealium), Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce Education Cloud) and Marketing Automation Platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement) to optimise campaign performance across all stages of the prospective student journey.
Working across Griffith’s brand and student recruitment portfolios, you’ll collaborate on cross-functional projects to deliver customer-centric solutions that maximise domestic student recruitment and admissions outcomes. You’ll join a dedicated team of marketing professionals in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for the following key activities:
- Develop and implement targeted digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels to build the University’s reputation and attract students, ensuring alignment between campaign creative, performance and business goals.
- Lead the design, delivery and optimisation of automated customer journeys through Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (MAP) and Salesforce Education Cloud (CRM).
- Embed the CX Blueprint and customer-centred practices across the marketing and communications unit, identifying customer pain points and acting as a champion for customer experience excellence.
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to manage the core areas of marketing and marketing automation campaign planning, optimisation, integration, conversion and analytics to ensure all campaigns are optimised.
- Contribute to a culture of experimentation, using data and insights to inform optimisation approaches.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends and best-practices, providing high level strategic and tactical marketing advice to senior staff to inform marketing strategies.
About you
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in executing marketing automation campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in delivering multi-channel digital marketing campaigns that engage, inform and motivate the target audience.
- Demonstrated high-level analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills and experience analysing data from multiple sources and making recommendations to inform customer experience.
- Highly organised with a proven experience in managing multiple marketing automation and digital marketing campaigns simultaneously with competing priorities.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to marketing automation campaign deployment.
What we can offer
- This is a full-time, fixed term (until end of January 2027) position based either at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
- Base Salary $101,068 - $109,496 per annum + 17% Superannuation. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation $118,249 - $128,110.
Qualifications
The occupant of this role will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or extensive relevant digital marketing and marketing automation experience.
