This is a pivotal role in shaping the digital presence of Lloyd’s as part of the wider Brand and Content team. Responsible for creating, enhancing, and managing the delivery of high-quality content through the Lloyd’s website, ensuring it remains relevant, up-to-date, engaging, and user-friendly.
Working closely with business owners, providing editorial guidance, and leveraging data insights to continuously improve content performance. You will be instrumental in maintaining content publishing workflows, processes, and tools, and in fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
Principal Accountabilities
- Support the Head of Brand and Content to develop and deliver the digital content strategy which drives high engagement and is aligned to Lloyd’s strategic priorities.
- Ensure all content on Lloyds.com is high quality, in line with brand guidelines, compliant and adheres to best practice standards - including reviews and editorial recommendations for business owner supplied content.
- Manage content creation and update activities, working with business owners to establish requirements, providing recommendations based on best practice and technical considerations, overseeing production and publication.
- Manage and oversee the pipeline of content authoring activities on the website, briefing and working with the planning team to assign Associate resource, ensuring activities are recorded, completed on time and reported.
- Establish and maintain content publishing workflows, processes and tools to ensure team delivery is resource efficient, documented, and centrally visible.
- Create and maintain documentation relating to the use of the Content Management System (CMS) and be responsible for CMS training approach across function.
- Manage the collection and analysis of website traffic and user engagement metrics. Use data insights to make evidence based improvements and recommendations and supply regular analysis, reporting and KPI measures to Planning function.
- Manage enquiries, resolve content problems and direct technical issues to the relevant internal team for resolution.
- Work with Digital and Group Technology to provide content support and recommendations for the ongoing development of the website.
- Lead and manage bi-weekly sprint planning with technology provider, focusing on front end enhancements to the website and CMS, including bug fixes, design improvements and future sprint planning.
Skills Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience as a Content Manager creating digital content, particularly for websites.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience of delivering in a global, fast paced, high volume, responsive and client-oriented environment.
- Experience of working with data analytics and web trends to optimize and improve content performance.
- Knowledge of search engine optimisation, and understanding of web traffic and user engagement metrics
- Understanding of digital technologies, web publishing and able to quickly learn new tools.
- Maintains a strong knowledge of digital trends and content best practice.
- Excellent written skills with a good eye for grammar, attention to detail and an ability to translate complex information into easily digestible language.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload in a busy environment working with multiple stakeholders.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to operate at all levels of the organisation
