Position Summary
The Brand Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives across residential and commercial product categories. This includes responsibility for creative activation, go-to-market planning, messaging, content creation, and sales enablement tools to ensure cohesive brand experiences across every customer touchpoint.
This role will be a bridge between strategy and execution — developing creative programs that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Category Leadership
- Lead multi-brand marketing strategy and integrated positioning across assigned product categories.
- Act as a brand steward to ensure consistent messaging, tone, and visual identity across channels.
- Monitor category trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategy.
Creative Activation & Campaigns
- Creative Design: Drive development of visual assets, packaging, merchandising, and displays to support marketing and sales initiatives.
- Messaging: Craft clear and compelling messaging frameworks to support launches, campaigns, and channel marketing.
- Digital Assets & Content: Collaborate to create digital content including graphics, videos, web assets, and social media campaigns.
- Merchandising: Lead creation and deployment of in-store and jobsite merchandising programs.
- Campaigns & Promos: Develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand and reinforce brand positioning.
- Events & Shows: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop impactful event strategies, trade show activations, and customer experiences.
- Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with tools, presentations, and resources to drive conversions and strengthen customer relationships.
Go-to-Market & Customer Experience
- Build and execute breakthrough launch plans for new products and promotions.
- Map and optimize the customer journey to create seamless, high-impact brand interactions.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment between marketing plans and business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams including Digital and Product Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Sourcing to deliver integrated programs.
- Support trade show, event, and customer engagement initiatives to build brand presence and loyalty.
- Work with external agencies and partners to bring creative concepts to life.
Insights & Analytics
- Leverage KPIs and analyze campaign performance to optimize spend and impact.
- Use customer insights to refine messaging, creative strategy, and channel activation.
- Develop actionable reporting to support leadership decision-making.
Project & Team Leadership
- Collaborate with agency partners and internal creative resources.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–8 years of progressive marketing experience in CPG, building materials, or related industries.
- Proven success in creative activation and go-to-market strategies for B2B and B2C audiences.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital content, merchandising, packaging, and campaign development.
- Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market trends, competitive benchmarking, and customer experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects and brands simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for jobsite visits, trade shows, and customer events.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in construction, building products, or adjacent categories:
- Familiarity with key Outdoor Living product categories – railing, decking and fencing preferred.
- Familiarity with wholesale, distribution and retail sales channels a plus.
- Experience with MarTech and project management platforms (Workfront, Monday.com), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft & Adobe Suite.
- Prior work with agency and creative partners in campaign execution.
