The Senior Product Marketing Specialist will coordinate and execute the product category marketing strategy for North America, aligning closely with Product Management and Sales priorities. This role focuses on driving go-to-market success for the Consumer/Mainstream Laptop Category, including product launches, event support, sales activation, PR, and social media initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic marketer who can balance big-picture thinking with tactical execution, ensuring all marketing efforts contribute to business growth and ROI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Plan and execute go-to-market strategies in alignment with business objectives, performance metrics, and ROI targets.
- Develop, communicate, and implement compelling marketing plans for Consumer product launches in the U.S. market.
- Create integrated campaigns and marketing assets, defining key messaging and positioning across ATL (above the line) and BTL (below the line) channels.
- Manage cross-functional implementation, collaborating with Product Management, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans.
- Partner with the Global Marketing Team at ASUS Headquarters to support global product strategy, balancing regional priorities with global direction through strong communication and diplomacy.
- Serve as the local market expert, identifying opportunities in positioning, launch strategies, and competitive differentiation.
- Represent ASUS at tradeshows and industry events, assisting with lead generation and communicating product value propositions and use cases.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of MDF (Marketing Development Funds) requirements, compliance, and reporting processes to ensure accurate management of marketing budgets.
Required Qualification:Bachelor’s degreein Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Work Experience3–5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, category management, or go-to-market strategy.
Knowledge and Skills- Strong strategic thinking combined with attention to detail and goal-oriented execution.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in marketing planning, campaign management, negotiation, and financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of both B2C and B2B marketing dynamics, including key processes and stakeholders.
- Deep passion for technology and marketing as drivers of business growth.
- Working knowledge of major accounts, their customer bases, and industry challenges.
- Strong understanding of PC technologies, able to articulate technical value propositions clearly and effectively.
- Creative mindset with experience managing digital and print production processes, collaborating closely with creative teams.
- Copywriting skills for technical products, with the ability to craft messaging and assets from the ground up.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in the Gaming, Consumer Electronics, PC, IoT, or hardware technology industries.
- Prior experience managing creative, advertising, or media agencies.

$90,000 - $120,0000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
