Pay & Hours:
We offer a competitive pay of £50,000 to £60,000 for the Marketing Manager role, depending on experience.

The Role:
As our Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping our brand's presence and driving our marketing strategy. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing our brand visibility, driving sales growth, and ensuring a consistent and engaging customer journey across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Strategy
Act as a guardian of the Wenzel’s brand across all channels.
Translate brand and business objectives into clear, actionable marketing plans.
Work with internal teams (Operations, Product, People, Finance, etc.) to develop and launch campaigns that drive sales and brand growth.
Team Management
Line-manage and support our Marketing and Social Media Assistant, setting objectives, giving feedback and helping them grow.
Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers where required (photography, design, media, print, etc.).
Campaigns & Content
Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across digital, in-store and local marketing (seasonal, product launches, store openings, recruitment, etc.).
Oversee content calendars and creative for social, email and website, ensuring on-brand messaging and tone of voice.
Brief and sign off artwork for digital assets and print (POS, window vinyls, leaflets, posters, etc.).
Digital Marketing
Manage always-on performance activity, particularly Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), including audience targeting, creative testing and optimisation.
Support with other paid media as needed (e.g. Google, local digital, partnerships).
Monitor and report on digital performance, suggesting improvements to drive ROI.
Budget, P&L & Reporting
Manage the marketing budget day-to-day, ensuring spend is tracked, controlled and delivers value.
Support the wider team with marketing input into the P&L (campaign performance, ROI, sales uplift, etc.).
Report regularly on campaign results, customer insights and market trends, turning data into clear actions.
Customer & Store Focus
Work closely with Operations and store teams to ensure campaigns land effectively in shop.
Support local store marketing activity, ensuring materials and messaging are consistent and on brand.
Keep close to customer feedback and competitor activity to inform future plans.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Solid experience in a marketing role (ideally Marketing Manager or strong Senior Executive ready to step up), preferably within retail, hospitality or FMCG.
Proven experience running paid social / Meta advertising campaigns and using analytics to optimise performance.
Experience managing or mentoring at least one direct report or junior team member.
Confident working across both digital and print (from social ads to in-store POS).
Comfortable managing budgets and tracking spend against performance.
Strong copywriting, briefing and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
Experience with email marketing and CRM tools.
Desirable
Experience working with multi-site retail or franchise-style businesses.
Formal marketing qualification (e.g. degree in Marketing/Business or CIM).
