The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for the marketing strategy and growth of vendors within Wavelink’s mobility solution portfolio and the channel partner strategy aligned to it. This portfolio currently comprises the following vendors: Acredia, Imprivata, MobiCall (New Voice), Olinqua, Scandit, Soti, Spectralink, Stryker and Tapendium.
Wavelink’s mobility portfolio has a strong foundation in the healthcare sector through its Connected Health solution service, however this role will also be responsible for expanding its reach to other sectors through a channel partner strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Working very closely with the marketing and sales teams, the channel marketing manager will be responsible for a number of key activities, including:
- Communication of Wavelink’s Mobility Partner Program, as well as implementation of the marketing elements of the program.
- Management of marketing budgets, including vendor COOP and marketing accrual funds.
- Implementation of communication strategies (face to face, email, social media etc) to ensure effective delivery of our core messaging
- Oversight for the channel elements of our marketing automation (Hubspot) engine - Encompassing all marketing-related touchpoints of the reseller buying journey for both existing resellers as well as nurturing prospective resellers. - Implementation of lead generation activities, including end-customer lead generation activities for resellers as well as new reseller recruitment programs
- Management of quarterly and annual vendor aligned marketing plans
- Building programs for specific vendors that will attract potential and existing resellers
- Direct engagement with resellers (together with our sales team), to communicate our messages as well as to incorporate their feedback into refining our activities
- Planning and implementing events involving channel (product launches, conferences, webinars, individual partner events, workshops etc)
- Coordinating content development and curation of a centralised marketing library
- Development, execution and management of sales promotions and partner incentive programs (both vendor and Wavelink driven), with defined objectives and ROI measures
- Development of custom marketing programs for selected key resellers
- Ongoing analytics and reporting of key activities
- Coordinating the activities of our Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator
- The role will involve some national travel
Requirements
To be successful in this role, your background should include
- 5+ years’ channel marketing experience, ideally working for either a technology distributor or vendor
- A strong understanding of an effective channel program within a complex multi-tiered channel ecosystem
- Experience with CRM platforms and ideally marketing automation platforms such as Hubspot
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, numerical and reporting skills
- Ability to work to deadline, juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
