Overview: We are seeking an experienced B2B Marketing Operations Lead who will play a pivotal role in connecting marketing, technology, and the business to drive measurable growth. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll be the operational backbone of the marketing department, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, managing resources, and ensuring flawless execution. This role leads all aspects of marketing operations, project management, and resource coordination, providing the Director of Marketing with the structure, insights, and bandwidth needed to focus on brand, strategy, and business alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Process Leadership
- Partner with the marketing director to operationalize strategic priorities and translate them into actionable plans.
- Collaborate closely with and provide regular reporting to the Director of Marketing, ensuring that all operational data and outcomes inform strategic direction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small and high-performing team, fostering continued collaboration, accountability and operational excellence.
- Lead the execution and optimization of marketing programs across multiple business units.
- Oversee marketing workflows, timelines, and project delivery to ensure efficient execution and cross-functional alignment.
- Manage and continuously improve marketing processes, tools, and reporting to increase visibility and performance.
Project & Campaign Management
- Oversee complex, multi-channel campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring clear ownership, milestones, and measurable results.
- Manage project intake, resource allocation, and prioritization to align with business goals and capacity.
- Track deliverables, budgets, and outcomes, providing leadership with transparent reporting on progress and performance.
Technology, Data & Analytics
- Optimize the marketing tech stack (HubSpot, CRM systems, analytics tools, project management platforms, etc.).
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs, campaign ROI, and pipeline contribution.
- Champion data integrity and usage across marketing and sales systems to drive more effective targeting and reporting.
- Provide the Director of Marketing with clear, data-backed insights to support decision-making and long-term planning.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in a marketing operations or project management leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage complex marketing projects, priorities, and deadlines across multiple teams.
- Advanced technical expertise with marketing automation (HubSpot or similar), CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.), analytics, and project management software (ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, etc.).
- Solid understanding of marketing funnel dynamics, lead management, and campaign ROI measurement.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify and present complex data clearly.
