About the Role
Total Wine & More is seeking a Digital Content Planner to join our growing Digital team in our Bethesda, MD office. This role will play a key role in driving our eCommerce goals by leading the planning, briefing, and optimization of high-impact content programs across Web & App. You will use data-driven insights, customer behavior, and market trends to shape content strategies that deliver results. You’ll ensure the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of content while partnering cross functionally to engage and convert customers. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Content Strategy & Planning.
You will
- Own planning and execution for campaigns by defining goals and strategy, developing briefs with creative and copy direction, and oversee timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze campaign and content performance results by providing insights and actionable recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Draft campaign recaps and revise templates to standardize measurement, highlight strategic learnings, and inform future planning cycles.
- Partner cross-functionality with Digital Merchandising and Marketing teams to identify and execute content opportunities that engage and convert.
- Monitor and apply emerging trends and newness opportunities to inform content strategy and site experience.
- Support testing, optimization, and merchandising efforts within the Total Wine app to improve content relevancy, shoppability, and user engagement.
- Maintain key content documents to enable efficient, high-quality execution and partner cross-functionally to improve workflows and drive best-in-class content practices.
- Conduct competitive analysis and trend monitoring to identify new content approaches, formats, and best practices.
You will come with
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2+ years in eCommerce, Digital Merchandising, Marketing.
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
- High attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Analytical mindset able to interpret performance data into actionable insights.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and drive results collaboratively.
- Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, A/B testing, or similar tools a plus.
