Cintra, part of the PSSG, is a fast paced and fast-growing company with our award winning software providing payroll solutions for over 1000 clients. We are looking for a full-time Marketing Operations Manager to join our Sales and Marketing department, reporting into the Head of Marketing. In this role, you’ll take the lead on executing our marketing strategy day-to-day - bringing campaigns to life, managing the marketing team, and keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
This is a key role at the centre of our marketing function—balancing people, processes, and performance. Within the team, we operate across several key functions: Organic and Content Marketing, SDR (Sales Development), Performance Marketing, and Demand Generation. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing individuals across each of these areas. You'll serve as both a team leader and a systems thinker—ensuring we execute effectively, meet our goals on time, and uphold a high standard of quality across everything we deliver. This role will be based in Newcastle upon Tyne, and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office at least once per fortnight. You can find our modern offices situated within Hoults Yard on the edge of the Ouseburn Valley with its flourishing creative networks, abundant local heritage and lively social scene. Hoults Yard is a vibrant community which includes quirky cafés, leisure facilities and other local businesses.
Key responsibilities
Team & Campaign Execution
- Lead the day-to-day execution of the marketing strategy ensuring that all campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget
- Manage and support the marketing team to ensure smooth execution, alignment, and accountability
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. sales, product) and external partners (e.g. agencies, freelancers) to support campaign delivery
Operations & Process Management
- Own and optimise marketing processes, systems, and tools (e.g. project management tools, CRM, email platforms)
- Spot opportunities to improve and implement best practices and automation
- Manage campaign calendars, schedules, and resource allocation
- Maintain and manage clear documentation of marketing processes and playbooks
- Improve cross-functional collaboration and communication
- Track marketing performance metrics and KPIs; prepare regular reports for the Senior Leadership Team
- Support budget tracking and resource planning
- Ensure data hygiene and integrity across systems (e.g., CRM, email lists)

- 4+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or campaign delivery
- Strong project management and organisational skills — you keep things moving
- Experience leading or managing a team
- Proficient in marketing technology (e.g., HubSpot, ClickUp, Google Analytics)
- Highly collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and visual
- Comfortable balancing structure with flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Experience scaling a marketing function in a growing company
- Background in B2B, SaaS, or product-led marketing
- Knowledge of lead lifecycle and sales/marketing alignment best practices
