About the Role:
Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator supports the Advanced Marketing team in executing key events, initiatives, and high-impact, multi-channel campaigns aligned with our Go-to-Market strategy. This role plays a key part in event logistics, campaign setup, data collation, content coordination, and reporting—ensuring timely and effective delivery of marketing activities that drive awareness, submissions, citations, and community engagement for the Advanced portfolio.
As the Advanced Portfolio expands, our mission is to maximize brand awareness and ensure that key markets engage with the portfolio, which also includes new journal launches. The Marketing Coordinator role will support all of the marketing initiatives that drive towards this goal, and will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of tasks. Initiative, organization, and an action-oriented mindset will all be key factors to success in this role, and the successful candidate will enjoy the ability to get involved in creative brainstorming and data analysis to inform future plans.
The role requires the Coordinator to multi-task, managing numerous tasks simultaneously, as assigned by marketers in different global locations. The ability to prioritize, communicate effectively and meet deadlines will therefore be essential.
Campaigns & Content
- Assist with the setup and tracking of e-mail campaigns
- Maintain campaign trackers and performance dashboards to support reporting on KPIs such as MIS, MIA, and lead generation
- Manage requests for campaign / content assets (e.g. banners, social graphics, email templates, editor toolkits)
- Coordinate post-event nurture activities such as thank-you emails, quarterly updates, and lead tracking
Event support
- Support Marketing Managers in the execution of the events strategy, including creating digital & physical assets, graphics, etc
- Logistical support for Advancing Together dinners, happy hours, Meet-the-Editor sessions, Advanced Workshops, Sponsorships, Advanced Summit
Data & Reporting
- Collate campaign performance data and assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders
- Support lead generation tracking and integration into nurture workflows
- Maintain accurate records of campaign metrics and event outcomes
Other
- Manage creation & distribution of branded gift boxes
- Maintain the Advanced Marketing Sharepoint
- Additional team support and projects as determined by AMD
What We Look For:
- 2+ years experience supporting a team in a large organization
- Experience supporting event organization
- Experience within academic publishing/publishing/academia
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom, Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
