Shimano Australia Fishing is currently accepting applications for a full-time Digital Marketing & eCommerce Coordinator to work onsite in our Caringbah head office.
The primary duties will include but are not limited to:
- Work with various stakeholders and across Shimano’s digital ecosystem - websites, eCommerce and customer facing platforms
- Support the Strategic Marketing Manager to configure, load, update and maintain data and content across various digital platforms
- Assistance with GB2B, GPCM, Wordpress, Shopify & GDAM website product data & image rollout
- Localise global JDM & OEM product copy and spec to Shimano Australia Fishing related websites
- Write and edit engaging, SEO-optimised copy to Shimano’s brand tone
- Co-ordinate with internal teams via Jira ticketing system to ensure smooth ERP and B2B integrations
- Conduct UX/QA, A/B testing across devices and templates to ensure launch readiness and troubleshoot issues
- Continual management of Email Marketing (EDM) platform, including testing & deploying email marketing campaigns
- Assist with Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other conversion code and tracking web pixels
- Build and run reports proficiently using Shimano’s CMS systems
- Analyse and monitor customer data, trends, and behaviours via various analytics tools to provide actionable insights to help inform effective digital strategies and campaigns
- Manage customer reviews and feedback on Google My Business to ensure a positive online reputation
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Marketing/Digital Tertiary Qualifications or similar
- Previous experience in a similar role or related eCommerce position
- Previous CMS, CRM and E-commerce experience with tooling such as Magento, WordPress, Shopify, SemRush, Adobe Experience Manager
- Understanding of broad digital marketing principles and implementation such SEO, web traffic metrics, and user behaviours
- Ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand format
- Knowledge of best practices for web platforms & functionality
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills with experience working with project management software such as Trello, SmartSheet or Asana
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Exposure using an ERP system & BI Reporting tools such as Pronto Xi, Cogno’s, SAP Hybris or similar
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to multitask, taking initiative and work unsupervised and autonomously.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to support website customisation and optimisation is advantageous
- Prior exposure within the fishing industry is highly regarded
This position contributes directly to driving digital sales and profitability across Shimano’s websites and would suit someone with excellent communication skills that takes a hands-on, proactive approach. The successful candidate will be working onsite in our Caringbah Head Office and be required to a work 8:54am to 5pm Monday – Friday.
