About the role
A 6-month secondment / fixed term full time opportunity for a Marketing Manager – Growth & Retention has arisen within our dynamic Customer Lifecycle Management and Lifestyle Services Marketing.You will manage and execute diverse customer lifecycle programs and journeys, leveraging data-driven insights and personalised marketing strategies. By analysing customer behaviour and segmentation patterns, the specialist designs focused campaigns across email, app push notifications, SMS, and targeted digital ads to rekindle interest and encourage repeat visits. Success in this role involves transforming missed opportunities into loyal customers and boosting store performance through smarter, more empathetic engagement.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager Growth & Retention, you’ll develop a data driven lifecycle marketing approach to effectively engage Coles customers from retention to reactivation, and to agreed targets.
Inspire Customers – Customer Lifecycle Marketing Strategy & Plan
Develop a data driven lifecycle marketing approach to effectively engage customers across the funnel from onboarding to re-activation to shift key customer metrics.
Inspire Customers – CX
Continue to evolve the use of data, analytics, insights, models and tech to deliver on our ambition to deliver the right message at the right time to the right customer. Continue to evolve and optimise weekly and adhoc comms to shift key customer metrics and work hand in hand with the lifecycle marketing programs. Work with stakeholders to ensure connected customer experiences across Coles marketing, Flybuys marketing, transactional and service communications
Win Together – Partnering
Effectively partner with Acquisition & Engagement, Coles online, Product and Digital and Analytics Agencies and Flybuys to build a connected data driven marketing strategy and CX.
Smarter Selling – Optimisation:
Monitor activity performance and proactively make changes to strategy and plans to optimise growth including running A/B or multivariate tests
About you & your skills
Tertiary qualified in Advertising, Marketing or Business you’re a CRM or Digital Marketing Manager with 5+ years’ experience. You’ll have proven data driven marketing experience, an ability to target customers, evaluate performance and identify opportunities for development. You’ll demonstrate strong MarTech literacy, with experience integrating, embedding, and scaling MarTech platform usage.
