Reporting to the VP of Marketing Capability and Operations and dotted lined to the ANZ Foods CMO, the Marketing Manager for Capability and Operations is responsible for rolling out, driving and embedding key global capabilities in local markets.

Job Overview:
This role will deliver and embed the global transformation & capability program which is expected to deliver step-changed brand-building capabilities to support development of Iconic Brands, embed a PepsiCo-side growth model, deliver A&M efficiencies for reinvestment in key brand and new future facing capabilities.
This is a key role as part of the Global Marketing Capability & Operations sub-function to land our Powering Positive Growth (PPG) Agenda for PEP’s consumer organization across both food and beverages for PepsiCo globally.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Strategic leadership, providing input from ANZ, enabling, launching and removing barriers to embed the PPG Marketing transformation in markets with a focus on Growth Navigator, Iconic Brands plus A&M Excellence
- Leading the Marketing Capability & Operations in ANZ/Asia Bevs markets to embed & sustain change across PepsiCo with a focus on AU Foods as the key anchor market
- Land the priority workstreams (Iconic Brands that move culture, Growth Navigator plus A&M Excellence) across the relevant markets (AU Foods anchor market as priority#1). Partner with sub-function leads to ensure relevance and scale
- Ensure close cooperation with CMO and Global Marketing Capability & Integration VP to orchestrate the transformation within the region
- Be the Change Agents for PepsiCo’s Consumer Organisation in the markets
- Be the point person for escalating and unlocking and roadblocks related to Capability & Operations
- Be the change agent in the markets together with CMOs based on the priorities identified
Growth Navigator Deployment Leader
For NZ and Asia Bevs markets:
- Schedule and Delivery of GN Deep Dives for Priority Markets (with support from the GN Global Team)
- Development of Cluster Model – nuancing deliverables vs. market conditions (maturity / momentum) – or development of clear linkages to the C/B/S model to develop key themes around differing market conditions
- Embed GN through the Organization and Plans
For Australia
- Develop and deliver GN scorecards core enhancements as needed
Across all markets
- Embedding GN across all markets and OU Growth planning processes
Marketing & Insights Capability Strategy & Leadership
Build & deploy holistic capability programming calendar for inclusive of:
- Upskilling against PPG priorities of Growth Navigator, Iconic Brands, and Human Centricity using the global PPG Marketing Academy material, to build knowledge amongst relevant associates
- Ongoing support/consulting/coaching opportunities on key brand artifacts (Brand Pulse, CBPs, DBAs) and growth planning documents (BGS, TCP Architecture, TCP Opportunity Briefs, etc.) to elevate deliverable quality
- Governance process for key brand deliverables within the growth planning process (BGS, ABP, TCP Architecture, TCP Opportunity Brief) to drive oversight and accountability amongst IB leadership
- Align agenda and collaborate on deployment with the Global Marketing Capabilities team, and ensure ongoing tracking of deployments within the global tracker.
- Ensure full utilization and understanding of latest global tools (e.g. Ada Amplify+), frameworks (e.g. TCP KPI & Objectives framework), and templates (e.g. new BGS template) across the full growth planning process
- Serve as the Creative excellence champion overseeing Category Creative forums as well as establishing the protocol for Market Creative reviews. Additionally own the Awards process (external) to deliver a winning awards pipeline across priority awards like Cannes, Effies and BAM process coordinating with global teams
Qualifications About You:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field
- At least 10 years working experience related to Marketing with critical experience preferred
- With strong leadership, organizational savvy and high learning agility
- Strong timeline and project management capability.
- Ability to build excellent relationships, including senior leader stakeholder management
- Knowledge of PepsiCo Marketing organization and previous brand management experience preferred
- Experience with Learning and Development, training content development and center of excellence experience is an advantage.
