Job Description:
This centralized role, sitting within the integrated Mars Wrigley US Media Team, will be responsible for building superior Media and Creative Research learnings and capabilities, encompassing One Demand Performance testing and Media Test and Learn agenda. This role will lead the Media and Creative Research strategy and execution across a variety partners (including Google, Verizon Media, Amazon Advertising, WMG, etc.) and social media partners (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.). The Associate will be responsible for defining and rolling out scalable testing solutions, methodologies, best practices and will partner with Mars Media and Content Teams to communicate learnings to advance Mars Wrigley media and creative efforts.

Minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience with Media and Content Analytics & Research (strategy, partners, tactics, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Possesses strong analytical, quantitative skills and an innate analytical mindset
- Proven effective media research expertise, ideally within an agency or multi-brand environment,
- Proficient in managing complex projects.
- Well organized, good at prioritization, attentive to details.
- Biased toward action. Takes initiative, is entrepreneurial, can hit the ground running and move projects forward right from the start.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Preferred qualifications:
- 7+ years of prior Media and Content Analytics experience and proven Performance Marketing track record.
- Experience with KPIs across the funnel
- CPG measurement experience (NCS, IRI etc)
- Experience partnering directly with brand marketers, agencies and vendor partners to advance biddable social & programmatic media initiatives
- Ability to think and communicate strategically.
- Strong, demonstrated collaborative spirit.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and understanding of scientific methods, including hypothesis testing
- Ability to deliver actionable insights that are summarized into a clear and concise story
- High levels of interpersonal skills specifically in influencing, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening). This includes ability to make effective presentations to all levels of management.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead Research strategy for National Media and Content, including prioritization of project and alignment of resources
- Partner with Mars Media and Content Teams to provide organization with testing plans and results, inclusive of insights and recommendations to optimize Media spending and creative performance
- Lead implementation of media research testing solutions, methodologies, and best practices, including evaluation of both existing and new partners
- Lead agency partners in identifying and validating appropriate testing resources
- Expand on full-funnel test and learn opportunities as we develop more integrated brand experiences and ways of working
- Develop strong collaborative ways-of-working with Media Planning teams (internal and external), Shopper Marketing, Brand & Content, Human Intelligence and Agency Research Team
- Collaborate with Mars HI, agency partners, media vendors, shopper marketing and measurement partners to identify, develop and implement test & learns media, and then package/present the results, including via Learning Agenda progress recaps, in-campaign reporting and frequent share-outs with brand teams, global partners and cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with Retail Media Partners/Customers & HI on development of emerging Media and Content measurement methodologies and customers’ ability to partner with standardized measurement partners
- Provide regular media and content research consultation to the brand teams and other cross-functional internal and external partners.
- Develop recommendation on best measures and KPIs
- Author performance reports, communicating overall progress, and highlighting any priority initiatives
- Lead development and implementation of educational sessions, playbooks and position papers to build marketing department capabilities and ensure proven solutions are scaled to deliver best-in-class performance
- Share best practices and learnings cross-segment, with US Pet Team and other MW markets, to spread knowledge & capabilities across the Mars Inc. organization

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
