This is a dynamic role for someone who loves creating high-quality content and shaping the digital presence of a growing platform.
Our ideal candidate is a data-aware social media & digital engagement specialist. A passionate social media expert who understands how to analyze social media performance and optimize social media and web channels to grow audience engagement. Candidate will play a key role in shaping our social media and web presence as we expand our digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the overall social media strategy
- Monitor performance across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), identify trends, and recommend tactics to improve reach.
- Regular engagement and conversation in social media platforms like Reddit, Instagram, YouTube and more.
- YouTube Optimization
- Assist with data analytics
- SEO, and best practices to maximize reach and engagement.
- Support social media governance and innovation across platforms like Reddit, LinkedIn, Blossom and more
- Ability to understand and visually communicate financial concepts in an engaging way.
- Web optimization, DIY investor journey design, data analytics
- Analyze investor behavior and campaign performance using dashboards and data tools
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of YouTube best practices and content strategies
- Interest in finance, investing, or economic topics
- Relevant experience in investing and asset management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively
- Deep knowledge of platforms; Reddit, Instagram, Youtube
- Knowledge of Online Trading Platforms
- Strong eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling
- Experience analyzing social media metrics and turning insights into action
- Familiarity with filming, lighting, and audio equipment is a nice to have, not mandatory

Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
