Role Overview
CDW is looking for an entry-level Social Media Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of our organic social media channels. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to learn B2B marketing, enterprise technology, and integrated campaigns.
You’ll work closely with senior social, brand, and demand generation team members to publish content, support campaigns, track performance, and help maintain CDW’s professional and trusted brand presence across social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Content Execution
- Schedule and publish organic social posts across platforms including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube
- Support content calendars aligned to marketing campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives
- Assist in adapting blogs, reports, case studies, and webinars into short-form social content
- Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with internal teams (Brand, Demand Gen, Events, Partner Marketing, Communications) to support social promotion needs
- Assist with social support for webinars, sponsorships, product announcements, and company updates
- Coordinate with creative and content teams to ensure assets are delivered on time
- Community Monitoring
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; escalate questions or issues to appropriate teams
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and professional tone
- Assist with basic social listening and trend monitoring
- Reporting & Learning
- Track basic performance metrics such as engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth
- Help compile weekly and monthly performance reports
- Learn how to test posting times, formats, and messaging to improve results
- Operational Support
- Maintain content calendars, approvals, and publishing workflows
- Ensure posts align with brand guidelines and compliance requirements
- Support content organization and asset management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field OR
- 4 years of experience in social media, marketing internships, or related roles without a degree
- Familiarity with major social platforms, especially LinkedIn
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Internship or coursework experience in B2B or technology marketing preferred
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, etc.)
- Interest in analytics and performance measurement
- Desire to grow into broader digital or demand generation marketing roles
