Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Paid Media Senior Account Manager to take the helm of a few of our most valued accounts. As the "go-to" day to day lead, you will be the operational anchor and strategic engine of your team. You won’t just manage accounts; you will be key to owning the client relationship, working with the Account Director to orchestrate the strategy across PPC and Paid Social, and be responsible for running a tight ship to ensure best in class execution. Responsibilities
- Lead performance day to day: You will serve as the internal and external day to day lead for your clients and team, acting as their trusted advisor and the ultimate authority on account performance.
- Talent Champion: You will directly manage and mold the next generation of Croud talent conducting 1:1s and performance reviews, ensuring your team of AMs and AEs is the highest-performing unit in the agency.
- Operational Excellence: Run a tight ship by instilling rigorous pace, precision, and accountability across all daily workflows, budget pacing, and platform optimizations.
- Strategic Growth: You will partner with the Paid AD and or the Strategy Director to create Account Development Plans (ADPs) that transform client business goals into industry leading roadmaps.
- Platform Mastery and Early Adopter: You will work with our media partners (Google, Microsoft, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok etc.) to understand and adopt new releases for your clients pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in-platform.
- Innovation Driver: You will lead the "Test & Learn" agenda, constantly hunting for new betas, techniques, products and platforms to keep your clients ahead of the competition.
- Proprietary Tech & Tools: You will work with our tech team to innovate ideas for new tools or find ways to enhance existing tools. You will also ensure adoption of Croud’s tech stack across your team.
- Quality Guardian: You will establish and enforce "Gold Standard" processes for paid media, ensuring every penny of client spend is handled with total precision.
- Commercial Ownership: You will partner with your seniors to identify untapped revenue opportunities across your accounts and may also play a role in new business pitches when the agency needs your expertise.
- Profitability & Efficiency: You will be responsible for monitoring your own as well as your team's journals (time sheets) as well as account profitability and resource efficiency.
Additionally, you may from time to time be asked to:
- Participate in interviews and contribute to the recruitment process
- Manage and direct training and development initiatives within the team.
- Advocate knowledge sharing across the wider Paid Media team sharing insights and success stories in team or company meetings
- Improve and document processes and ways of working.
- Monitor market or category trends to share with clients and your team
- Oversee internal projects within the team, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Advocate company policies and processes across all endeavours, maintaining alignment with our company values
Person Specification
- The "Go-To Expert": You are a master of either PPC or Paid Social. While we love multi-channel experts, we also value deep expertise - if you’re a superstar in one and eager to lead across both, we want to talk.
- Confident Communicator: You are comfortable leading important client meetings and possess the gravitas to manage expectations, navigate difficult conversations, and influence others.
- Solutions-Oriented Mindset: You have a proven ability to work to and meet simultaneous deadlines, working within a team to succeed even under pressure.
- Data Literacy: An analytical mind capable of turning data into clear, actionable client narratives.
- Leadership Presence: You won't just manage people, you’ll need to motivate and inspire. We’re looking for someone who can cultivate a positive and accountable team and working dynamic.
- Meticulous Standards: Do you have impeccable attention to detail? We’re looking for someone who takes pride in the accuracy and quality of their team's output.

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
