Our Sr Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing various marketing deliverables such as emails, paid ads, direct mail, website tests, website redesigns, event materials, print ads and more. This role will help support marketing channels which include but are not limited to content, social, website, product, performance, CRM, and partner marketing. Responsibilities Include:
Project Management
- Create and maintain project schedules for all assets from brief through final delivery.
- Track project progress, develop schedules, and communicate status.
- Work with stakeholders to develop creative briefs, deadlines, and all other requirements needed to successfully launch and manage projects.
- Work proactively with channel managers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time launch of new campaigns and creatives.
- Fulfill any incentive requirements in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Assist with quality assurance/testing, ensuring any changes requested by risk reviewers have been properly implemented.
Tools and Tickets Management
- Track projects from beginning to end and use collaboration tools to make sure that marketing managers and cross-functional teams have the information they need.
- Drive efficiency by ensuring that collaboration tools are being used correctly, and holding stakeholders accountable for their tasks and documentation. Keep the project management tools (marketing folder, jira, and airtable) up to date, including correct due dates, assignees and stakeholders, uploading all final creative, and also storing final assets, content and creative in correct folders.
- Organize the marketing drive per team and project, ensuring pieces are accurately labeled and dated, and all final creative are in folders.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping by uploading final assets to ticketing system and leading scheduled legal audits, while addressing audit requests promptly and thoroughly.
Communication and Cross-functional Collaboration
- Drive projects to completion by leading day-to-day communications with internal marketing and creative teams (coordinate meetings, notes, status reports, task lists, etc.).
- Schedule creative reviews, stakeholder reviews and other project checkpoints.
- Responsible for clear communication across the cross-functional team to ensure that all team members are updated on project milestones, decisions, status, and delivery.
- Coordinate and ensure timely routing and approval of all assets and pricing updates with designated bank partner(s).
- Develop clear documentation for new policies and procedures to guide teams and ensure effective adoption.
Vendor Management
- Vendor contact and management including routing contracts/IOs for legal review, submitting vendor forms, monitoring budgets, and delivering production ready assets in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree- Marketing or related field of study. Additional equivalent experience above the required minimum may substitute.
- 4 years of experience in a project manager/producer or similar role supporting marketing execution.
- Ability and experience collaborating with cross functional teams.
- A demonstrated history of exercising appropriate urgency when trafficking, scoping + resourcing work.
- Proven ability to unblock work to ensure progress and/or escalate issues when necessary.
- Expertise with Airtable, Jira, Themis, Asana, or other project management tools.
- Organizational expertise.
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
