Role Overview
As Director of Growth, you will lead and scale Bandit’s growth engine, driving acquisition, retention, and community expansion. This role is about blending creative strategy with analytical rigor and requires a leader who can own P&L-driven growth while staying deeply rooted in Bandit’s culture of design and running.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth Planning
- Define and own Bandit’s growth roadmap: acquisition, activation, retention, engagement, and LTV.
- Develop a multi-channel growth strategy (performance marketing, referrals, brand partnerships, community-led growth).
- Partner with executive leadership to align growth goals with broader business objectives.
Performance Marketing & Acquisition
- Lead paid acquisition (paid social, search, display, affiliate), working with internal teams and agencies.
- Establish high-impact funnel strategies: top-funnel brand awareness, mid-funnel activation, bottom-funnel conversion.
- Create and run high-velocity test-and-learn programs (A/B tests, creative experimentation, promotional frameworks).
- Shape lifecycle marketing strategy (onboarding, nurturance, reactivation) across paid, email, SMS and owned channels.
Community & Partnerships
- Drive content-led growth: work with creative to tell stories that resonate through newsletters, social, and run stories.
Data & Analytics
- Build and maintain growth dashboards, define KPIs (CAC, LTV, retention, churn, conversion rates), and report on performance.
- Forecast and shape budget allocations, trade-offs, and investment decisions based on data-driven insights.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Operations, and Finance to ensure growth initiatives are integrated into all areas of the business.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or revenue leadership at consumer or DTC brands; experience in performance apparel, activewear, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
- Proven track record building and scaling membership or loyalty programs.
- Deep expertise in paid media, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and data-driven growth.
- Strong written and analytical capabilities: comfortable with cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and growth metric reporting.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing high-growth budgets.
- Creative thinker who values design, brand voice, and product integrity.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in Google Business Suite, Klaviyo, GA4, Meta, Shopify, and Figma
- This is a full-time, in-office role based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn headquarters
