Job Title: Home Care Marketing

Business Context
Home Care’s Power Brands (e.g., Dirt Is Good, Comfort, Cif, Domestos, Sunlight) reach hundreds of millions of households. We’re looking for an energised Junior Brand Manager who will operate at the heart of the CMO Office – combining chief-of-staff support, executive presentations and events, social channels management storytelling, and PR coordination – to help the function move faster and show up sharper.
Scope of the role
1. CMO Chief-of-Staff Support (approx. 40%)
- Orchestrate the CMO’s operating rhythm: decision logs, action trackers, pre-reads, and follow-ups across Home Care Marketing (HCM) and LT
- Prepare crisp narratives, talking points, and readouts for HCLT and HCM, quarterly business reviews, brand summits, and market immersions
- Drive cross-functional coordination (R&D, Finance, Media, Communications, Markets) to land brand priorities on time; chase actions and clear blockers
- Guard bar-raising standards on decks and documents (clarity, evidence, brand distinctiveness) and manage a light approvals workflow with agencies/partners
2. Executive Presentations & Flagship Events (approx. 25%)
- Build presentation materials with strong storytelling and visuals; maintain a library of master slides, brand facts, proof points, and case studies
- Plan and deliver internal/external events and speaker engagements (e.g., leadership offsites, brand showcases, partner/agency summits): run-of-show, speaker briefs, logistics, and budget tracking
- Capture outcomes (attendance, satisfaction/NPS, follow-ups, owned/earned coverage) and translate into clear post-event reports
3. Social Channels (approx. 20%)
- Run light-touch social publishing for the CMO and selected corporate/brand handles: monthly calendars, post copy, and asset requests
- Track performance with monthly analytics from social agency and recommend optimisations
- Coordinate with agencies and identify creators/partners for strategic bursts; ensure approvals, brand safety, and disclosure compliance
4. PR & Earned Communications (approx. 15%)
- Support press materials (press releases, media Q&A, briefing docs), spokesperson prep, and media list coordination with our PR agency
- Monitor media and social sentiment; flag risks/opportunities and help draft swift responses in partnership with HC Comms and Unilever Corporate

Profile
- Experience in brand/marketing/comms
- Strong writer and deck-builder; confident turning complex data into simple, visual stories
- Hands-on familiarity with social tools, asset specs, basic analytics, and creator/influencer workflows
- Event/project coordination experience: planning, logistics, suppliers, budgets, post-event reporting
- High integrity and discretion handling confidential materials; bias to action, detail-obsessed, and comfortable with fast turnaround

Location
In 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars ("100VE"), Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond, the build is due to be complete in early 2025. Most recently, in August 2024, we announced our intention to retain our premises in 100VE until our lease expires in 2027.
We are due to consult with our existing workforce on the new proposal to retain 100VE for the duration of our lease. Therefore, until such a time consultation has concluded as to the retention of our 100VE office, this role will be based in 100 Victoria Embankment until early 2025 and then will move to the Kingston Campus.
