Job Overview
The Senior Copywriter is responsible for concepting, writing, editing, and refining a wide range of brand-aligned content across channels. This includes both long-form and short-form writing, ranging from high-impact advertising headlines and campaign taglines to in-depth editorial features, product brochures, and internal communications. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled storyteller who can distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that reflect Kubota’s voice and values.
Key Responsibilities
This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
The Copywriter will be briefed by and work closely with the creative head to produce all copy.
The Copywriter will be expected to:
- Craft compelling headlines, subheads, and calls-to-action that drive engagement across digital and print channels
- Adapt tone and format for various audiences and platforms, ensuring consistency with Kubota’s brand voice
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to concept integrated campaigns from ideation through execution
- Be responsible for writing blog content and press releases
- Ensure ALL copy is proofread before it goes live/is submitted/sent
- Edit projects through rounds of revision, with goal of final approval by requestor and supervisor
- Be responsible for adhering to brand voice so as to communicate brand personality and story through all written communication
- To communicate directly with the requestor as needed
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) at Kubota
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in English, Advertising, Journalism or communications
- Minimum of 4-7 years of industry experience required.
- Proven ability to write across formats and channels, including short-form ad copy and long-form editorial
- Portfolio demonstrating a range of work: headlines, taglines, campaign messaging, and narrative storytelling
- Excellent writing skills and grammar knowledge

The Copywriter will receive feedback and incorporate it into revision rounds of the copy. The goal of the Copywriter is to meet requestor needs while providing an innovative and unique solution to their marketing piece that tells Kubota’s authentic story and inspires our audience. Each piece should relate back to Kubota’s brand story and brand words.
The Copywriter must be an excellent time manager, handling multiple deadline-driven projects, and communicate effectively with their supervisor on project status while simultaneously meeting a high demand for creativity daily.
