Position: Digital Media and Social Media Manager

Position Overview:
The Digital Media & Social Media Manager drives MPCS’s online presence by creating, curating, and distributing engaging digital content across social media, the school website, and third-party online platforms. This role ensures consistent storytelling, brand visibility, and community interaction that supports enrollment, retention, and engagement goals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute all MPCS Patriots social media posts, campaigns, and platform strategies.
- Provide direction and training for subgroup accounts (HOS, Athletics, Fine Arts, Alumni, Student Life, Staff) as the leader ultimately accountable for the comprehensive brand’s online presence.
- Develop and execute strategy for social listening and reputation management.
- Develop and execute strategy for social retargeting campaigns in alignment with overall advertising strategy.
- Capture and edit photography and video content for use in digital channels.
- Collaborate on digital advertising campaigns (Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), tracking ROI and analytics.
- Oversee the school’s online coverage of events with real-time engagement strategies.
- Maintain active and updated presence on all priority listing sites (Private School Review, Niche, Admission.org, etc.)
- Curate testimonials, reviews, and digital stories from parents, students, and alumni.
- Maintain and update website content in partnership with IT and departments.
- Analyze metrics across social and digital platforms, providing reports and recommendations.
- Ensure that digital communications reflect MPCS’s commitment to its mission and values.
- Attend major events to capture content and ensure online coverage within owned media.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience preferably in social media management, digital content or related roles.
- A mission-driven individual who demonstrates an eagerness to serve in a faith-based academic environment & genuine ability to connect with and serve young people in a Christian community.
- Communications: Effective written, verbal, and editing communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Collaboration: Has student-centered focus and ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including students, families, faculty, staff, and community partners.
