Position Objective:
This position will lead the strategic development, creation and execution of social media efforts within the Chico’s Brand. This role is responsible for growing brand awareness, increasing engagement, and driving sales through innovative social media strategies. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the fashion and retail industry, digital trends, and platform-specific best practices and excels at balancing multiple brand voices in a fast-paced environment.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Develops & executes innovative organic social media strategies that drive engagement and strengthen brand voice.
- Ideal candidate has hands-on content creator experience, a passion for social media and trending content and someone who can guide top tier content creation.
- Develops and implements social media strategies aligned with the brand’s identity, goals, and marketing calendar.
- Tailors social media content to target different audiences across multiple social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.).
- Expands the brands presence on underutilized platforms and explore testing new platforms where relevant
- Leads ideation with across Creative, Brand and production around the creation of reactive social content that is brand relevant.
- Collaborates with creative and brand marketing to create compelling, on-brand content for each platform.
- Oversees the creation of graphics, video, and other multimedia content.
- Maintains a consistent posting schedule, while adapting to real-time opportunities.
- Monitors follower comments and influencers to build and nurture each brand’s online community.
- Monitors brand sentiment and proactively manage crises or negative feedback.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, making data-driven recommendations to optimize results.
- Track KPIs such as follower growth, engagement rate, website traffic, and sales attributed to social media efforts.
- Collaborate closely with brand marketing, PR, Influencer, creative, and ecommerce teams to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
- Partners with paid social media on campaigns, working with digital marketing teams to execute targeted ad strategies.
- Analyzes competitors and industry trends to position the brand at the forefront of social media
- Drives hindsighting and social media reporting to key stakeholders
- Manage the social media calendar that aligns with brand marketing calendar

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for fashion or lifestyle brands
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
