The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing & Communications, will be a member of Bucherer USA Marketing Team, responsible for all brand marketing communication including media, PR, social (paid and organic) and activations. The role will be responsible for all marketing co-op activations across our brand partners and further establishing the Bucherer 1888 brand in the USA through efficient activations and a strong focus on “demand generation”. This role will be responsible for local content creations and brand storytelling as well as media and public relations. The candidate will manage strategic brand partnerships and define the local content creator strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Brand Leadership: Lead end-to-end brand marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and market presence, drive engagement, ensure luxury client experiences and align with overall business objectives
- Co-Op Brand Partnerships: Ensure implementation of all co-op marketing initiatives in alignment with business goals. Ensure “best in class” partnerships
- Content Strategy & Storytelling: Partner with external brands and internal stakeholders to co-create integrated campaigns across digital, retail and activations on a local level while also ensuring consistent implementation of global campaigns
- Creative and Curator Partnerships: Identify and manage creative partnerships to expand reach for Bucherer brand as well as selected partner brands
- Data Driven Marketing: Utilize analytics and insights to evaluate overall marketing performance and inform future brand partnership decisions
- Retail Marketing: Implement national and global campaigns across all doors – work in close alignment with Retail Marketing Management on local activations
- Media and Public Relations: Manage and lead media relationships across lifestyle, luxury and business press. Oversee press events, media previews, launches and media collaborations including stylist and KOL relationships and red carpet activations
- Cross- Functional Collaboration: Work closely across all departments and in alignment with global HQ will be a crucial success factor
- Global Collaboration and Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team and foster collaboration within broader marketing and digital team
- Budget & Vendor Management: Oversee marketing budgets, negotiate partnerships to maximize efficiency and ROI
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree (preferred) and 5 years of progressive experience in brand communications preferably within a multi-brand retailer and / or luxury sector
- Proven success in developing and executing high impact smart PR and local brand campaigns and retail activations
- Exceptional writing, presentation and verbal skills
- Analytical mindset – decision making based on market insights, data and analytics
- Deep understanding of luxury consumer behavior and (digital) communication trends as well as luxury retail and experiences
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, hands on mentality and team player
- media planning/buying, or relevant marketing field (agency experience welcomed)
- Expert knowledge of Paid and Organic Social Media Platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc)
- Understanding and experience with the 360-media landscape (digital, OOH, magazines, newspaper, etc.)
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with brand and media partners
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills; proactive, flexible, and responsive
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while staying detail-oriented with strong organizational and written communication skills
SALARY RANGE: $105,000 - $120,000 per year
