Client Growth Manager - INSEA

Summary
As a Client Growth Manager, you will be the first point of contact for an assigned book of clients, responsible for nurturing long-term relationships and driving revenue growth through performance marketing. Your focus will be to retain clients, secure consistently renewed budgets, and expand business across mobile user acquisition, retargeting, and Connected TV (CTV) campaigns.
You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Ad Operations teams to ensure performance aligns with client objectives, while proactively identifying growth opportunities, delivering strategic insights, and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients.
This is a hybrid position combining office and home working, requiring candidates to work in Asia Time (GMT+5.5 to +8). Some travel will be required to visit clients and attend industry events. We have offices in Manila and Singapore, and a minimum of two days' office-based work is required.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Growth & Management
- Lead, manage, and grow a portfolio of direct advertisers and agencies across a diverse set of verticals.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize client campaigns with AdOps support to meet performance and ROI goals.
- Identify, recommend, and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities across Smadex’s solutions (UA, retargeting, CTV).
Client Relationship Building
- Serve as a proactive partner: anticipate client needs, resolve pain points, and establish long-standing trust.
- Lead regular client calls (weekly/bi-weekly) to review campaign performance and explore new opportunities.
- Deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to showcase results, growth potential, and strategic recommendations.
- Produce campaign wrap-ups and post-mortems for clients who pause or churn, with clear next-step strategies.
Commercial Responsibilities
- Negotiate billing confirmations and resolve disputes on a monthly basis.
- Actively participate in revenue forecasting and reporting.
- Maintain senior relationships within client organizations, particularly in SEA’s largest app-focused companies.
Collaboration & Representation
- Work cross-functionally with global support teams (Barcelona HQ and other international offices).
- Represent Smadex at regional industry events, client visits, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
Skills & Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in clients handling with at least 2 years in performance mobile marketing and programmatic space.
- Prior DSP or programmatic advertising experience is required.
- Strong familiarity with the mobile app ecosystem, including UA, retargeting, agency landscapes, and suppliers.
Technical Competence
- Solid understanding of ad tech concepts: MMPs, tracking links, postbacks, APIs, SDK integration, SKAN/ATT, DSPs, SSPs/Exchanges.
- Ability to solve first-degree technical issues and collaborate effectively with AdOps/tech teams.
- Proficiency in Excel (analysis and reporting).
Communication & Leadership
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Bahasa or Mandarin fluency is a strong plus.
- Persuasive negotiation skills and ability to present compelling insights to senior stakeholders.
- Professional presence with the confidence to build relationships at senior levels in client organizations.
