Position Overview
The Brand Content Manager leads how SelectBlinds tells its story across content and visuals — shaping the brand experience through strategy, storytelling, and creative execution. This role bridges the gap between brand marketing and product content, ensuring every touchpoint reflects a consistent, high-quality, and optimized brand presence.
You’ll oversee the full spectrum of brand content — from web copy and SEO to product imagery, CGI, photography, and video. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on: a creative thinker who can craft compelling content, lead visual production, and collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen our brand identity and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Content Development
- Lead the creation and execution of brand and content strategies that strengthen SelectBlinds’ voice, visual identity, and market presence.
- Ensure consistent storytelling and tone across all channels.
- Develop and refine messaging that aligns with SEO goals and enhances discoverability while staying true to brand voice.
- Partner with the SEO team to identify and capitalize on content opportunities that drive organic growth.
- Write, edit, and oversee content that supports campaigns, launches, and ongoing brand initiatives.
Visual Content Leadership
- Oversee all product imagery and creative asset development, including CGI, photography, and retouching.
- Manage the workflow and quality control of in-house and external creative resources, ensuring assets meet technical and visual standards.
- Lead collaboration with merchandising and marketing to align on visual priorities and content needs.
- Implement processes and best practices to improve efficiency, file management, and cross-team coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement in visual storytelling that enhances the customer experience.
Video & Creative Production
- Concept, plan, and direct photography and video projects that support brand storytelling and campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to ensure visuals are cohesive, engaging, and conversion-focused.
- Oversee editing, delivery, and optimization of visual content for digital platforms.
SEO & Performance Optimization
- Partner with the SEO team to align content creation with keyword strategies, search trends, and user intent.
- Monitor and report on content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize on-site content, imagery, and metadata to support organic visibility and engagement goals.
- Use analytics to inform strategy, ensuring all content contributes to measurable growth and brand strength.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a bridge between marketing & merchandising teams to ensure cohesive execution across initiatives.
- Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple content and creative projects.
- Contribute to the brand’s long-term creative and storytelling evolution as SelectBlinds continues its Shopify platform transition and rebrand phases.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in brand marketing, content creation, or visual production.
- Demonstrated success in managing brand and SEO-driven content strategies.
- Experience leading creative production, including photography, CGI, and video.
- Proven track record of cross-functional project management and creative leadership.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of brand voice, storytelling, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) and content management systems (e.g., Shopify).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or Monday.com).
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance creative direction with data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools for content ideation, asset management, or optimization is a plus.
