Position is responsible for the development and execution of the Glacier Bank digital marketing strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
Employee will have extensive contact with customers, vendors, the general public, and bank staff and will interact in a professional and courteous manner and conduct him/herself in such relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall efficiency and image of the bank.
Essential Functions
- Manage Glacier Bank’s social media presence including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Content creation, including social media posts, video stories, graphics, and educational videos.
- Engage Glacier Bank customers, generate interaction, market products and services, highlight the Glacier Bank culture, and celebrate employees, bank events, and successes. Manage comments and facilitate warm hand-offs to applicable bank staff as appropriate. Ensure content and messaging is compliant, fresh, visually attractive, user-friendly, and appropriate.
- Stay up to date on social media trends and technology. Make recommendations regarding new platforms and how to better utilize existing platforms.
- Coordinate with bank’s marketing department and third-party digital partnerships on campaign creation, implementation, and tracking.
- Manage bank’s internal digital marketing channels including, but not limited to, the bank website, marketing cloud email journeys.
- Spearhead website SEO efforts. Identify new SEO opportunities. Monitor performance, review analytics, and make updates as needed.
- Monitor and manage online reviews across platforms to enhance customer engagement and brand reputation.
- Coordinate Glacier Bank’s community-focused radio program, promoting local events and initiatives to strengthen relationships and visibility within the communities we serve.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously on assignments as defined by the Marketing Manager.
- Help represent Glacier Bank’s marketing team with corporate CX team and other Glacier Bank divisions.
- Align marketing activities with the Marketing Manager maintaining Glacier Bank brand standards and ensuring marketing activities meet organization, state, and federal requirements.
- Perform administrative support duties including but not limited to meeting minutes, ordering supplies, following up on invoicing questions, completing vendor due diligence process, and maintaining documentation as required for audit.

- Participate in required training, staff meetings, and other displays.
- Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of Glacier Bank.
- Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).
- Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s).
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
- Represent Glacier Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive “can-do” attitude, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
- Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy.
- Consistently maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Additional duties as requested or assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proven competency in social media, including knowing what makes good content and optimizing engagement.
- Practical experience with social media or website management tools.
- Experience using creative tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- A moderate level of banking knowledge desired.
Work Environment
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.
Must be capable of occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
