About the Role
We’re hiring an SEO Manager to own Rho’s organic growth strategy. You’ll report to the VP of Marketing and be responsible for driving consistent, measurable growth in website traffic and improving how Rho ranks across both search engines and large language models.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll define the SEO strategy, execute it, and be accountable for results. You’ll run experiments, own performance metrics, and keep the pace high while applying a strong analytical lens to every decision.
You’ll collaborate with Growth and Web Engineering on technical SEO, ensuring the site is optimized for performance, indexing, and scalability. You’ll also partner closely with Marketing and Design to publish high-quality, SEO-focused content that attracts and converts founders.
Your north stars are simple: organic traffic moving up and to the right, improved keyword visibility across LLMs, and a steady increase in applications driven through organic channels.
Key Responsibilities
Own Rho’s SEO strategy end-to-end, from technical optimization to content execution.
Define and track clear monthly and quarterly goals for organic traffic, LLM visibility, and conversion.
Conduct keyword and entity research to inform site structure, content planning, and on-page optimization.
Collaborate with Web Engineering and Growth to implement technical SEO improvements across pages, performance, and architecture.
Partner with Marketing and Design to publish high-quality, optimized content that builds authority and drives applications.
Integrate AI workflows thoughtfully to enhance research, optimization, and reporting—balancing automation with editorial judgment.
Measure and report performance using analytics dashboards and search tools, applying insights to improve rankings and ROI.
Run SEO and content experiments to identify new growth levers.
Maintain alignment between SEO goals and broader acquisition, brand, and content strategies.
Qualifications
5–8 years of hands-on SEO experience, covering technical, content, and on-page optimization.
Proven track record of driving measurable organic traffic growth and improved rankings.
Informed perspective on AI- and LLM-powered search, with ideas for how to win visibility in this emerging landscape.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams on site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and performance improvements.
Strong editorial judgment; able to make content that’s both discoverable and genuinely valuable.
Analytical and data-driven, fluent in tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Looker.
Comfortable running experiments, analyzing performance, and iterating quickly.
Organized, self-sufficient, and able to balance strategy with execution.
Experience working across content, growth, and design teams in a fast-paced environment.

Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $185,000 in On-Target Earnings (OTE). Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.
