Summary
The Sr. Lifecycle & CRM Marketing Manager (Topstep Brokerage) will own and execute customer lifecycle strategies that drive engagement, retention, and growth across Topstep Brokerage’s products. The role translates data-driven insights into personalized campaigns and automated journeys that strengthen trader relationships and increase platform activity, conversion, and lifetime value. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building CRM programs in Hubspot, Braze, Iterable, or similar CRM, excels at transforming behavioral data into actionable communications, and brings a strong mix of analytical rigor and creative storytelling. You’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Product, Creative, and Data teams to deliver seamless customer experiences across email, in-app, and SMS channels.
Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle Marketing & CRM
- Build, deploy, and optimize lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, and in-app channels for Topstep Brokerage users.
- Translate customer behaviors into automated journeys supporting onboarding, trading activation, re-engagement, and win-back.
- Manage day-to-day CRM operations, including campaign setup, QA, audience segmentation, and deliverability monitoring.
- Partner with Data and Product teams to define and refine lifecycle triggers, ensuring relevance and timeliness.
- Conduct A/B tests on content, subject lines, send times, and frequency to continuously improve performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align brokerage lifecycle programs with the broader company retention strategy.
- Collaborate with Creative and Brand teams to ensure lifecycle assets reflect Topstep’s tone, design, and messaging standards.
- Work with Growth and Media teams to ensure consistent messaging between acquisition and retention funnels.
- Support integration and data hygiene across CRM systems, analytics tools, and automation workflows.
Data & Insights
- Monitor campaign KPIs including open rate, CTR, conversion, churn, and lifetime value.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track performance and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Translate analytics into actionable strategies that guide content, segmentation, and frequency optimization.
- Contribute to testing roadmaps and segmentation frameworks in partnership with Data Science teams.
Required Qualifications and Key Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle, or Retention Marketing (preferably in fintech, trading, or subscription-based industries).
- Proven ability to execute automated lifecycle journeys that drive measurable retention and LTV growth.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or HubSpot.
- Strong knowledge of CRM segmentation, personalization, and behavioral triggers.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Google Analytics, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Clear communicator who thrives in cross-functional, remote teams.
- Strong balance of data-driven thinking and creative problem-solving.

New Hire Base Salary Range
- $120,000-$140,000
- Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
- The compensation offered will take into account internal compensation structure and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
