We're looking for an Organic Growth Strategist to join our Growth Marketing team! This is a mid-level role perfect for someone who wants to develop expertise in cutting-edge SEO, AI search optimization, and marketing automation–while maintaining excellent standards of the content that hits our site.
Working closely with our Sr. Organic Growth Manager and Sr. Content Strategist, this role is 20% (non-code) technical SEO implementation, 10% dashboard-building and analytics, 40% E-E-A-T optimization and PSEO hub generation, and 30% AirOps automation—all focused on driving measurable organic growth while staying ahead of search algorithm changes and LLM evolution.
Reporting to the Manager, Organic Growth, this role is for you if you're passionate about the intersection of data analysis, technical SEO, content quality, and emerging AI search platforms. You'll help transform our organic growth strategy through meticulous execution, intelligent automation, and deep expertise in trust-building optimization.
These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:
Technical SEO Implementation (20%)
Executing non-code technical SEO fixes, including meta optimization, internal linking strategies, URL structure improvements, and basic schema markup implementation to enhance crawlability and indexability
Conducting regular SEO audits to identify and resolve technical issues that impact site performance, working with developers when code changes are needed, but handling everything possible independently
Dashboard Building & Analytics (10%)
Creating comprehensive SEO dashboards using Looker Studio, Google Analytics, and other visualization tools to track our blog, glossary, PSEO, and core product page performance at the nitty-gritty level our team needs to be successful
Analyzing LLM trends and AI search impact by monitoring how our content performs in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, tracking citation rates, and optimizing for AI-powered search visibility (we’ll teach you!)
E-E-A-T Optimization & Programmatic SEO (50%)
Developing and implementing E-E-A-T enhancement strategies across our blog and programmatic SEO hubs, focusing on building expertise signals, authoritativeness markers, and trustworthiness indicators that improve rankings
Managing author credibility and content authority by creating systematic approaches to showcase expertise, building author bios, implementing proper attribution, and developing content that demonstrates first-hand experience
Building trust signals and credibility markers through strategic implementation of reviews, testimonials, expert quotes, original research citations, and other trust-building elements that enhance overall site authority
Optimizing for YMYL content standards by ensuring all money/health/safety-related content meets Google's highest quality standards through proper sourcing, expert validation, and transparent authorship
Providing data-driven insights for programmatic content strategy, including identifying high-opportunity location/service combinations, content gaps in programmatic hubs, and optimization priorities based on comprehensive competitive and performance analysis
AirOps Automation & Process Optimization (20%)
Building automated workflows using AirOps to streamline content optimization, keyword tracking, technical SEO performance, competitor monitoring, and performance reporting without sacrificing quality or accuracy
The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:
SEO Foundation. 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical SEO or SEO content with a strong foundation in SEO structure, keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance tracking—you understand algorithms and humans both.
E-E-A-T Expertise. Deep understanding of Google's Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness framework, especially for YMYL content and programmatic SEO—you know how to build trust signals that actually move rankings.
Data Analysis Skills. Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and data visualization platforms (Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar)—you can spot trends, identify opportunities, and communicate insights clearly.
Technical SEO Knowledge. Solid understanding of no-code technical SEO fundamentals: metadescriptions, titles, H2s, interlinking, etc. You’re not afraid to help build a strong site infrastructure one page at a time.
AI & LLM Obsession. Strong interest in and basic understanding of how AI search engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) work and how to optimize content for AI-powered search results—and a need to learn more.
Automation Mindset. Experience with SEO workflow automation tools (AirOps preferred) or similar platforms that can streamline repetitive SEO tasks without breaking quality standards.
Content Experience. You’ve been on a content team and wrote the content that made it to page 1, or wrote the briefs that drove the SEO dollars.
Bonus points if:
You have experience with programmatic SEO or managing large content hubs
You've worked with SMB SaaS, especially a trial-enabled funnel
Have experience with advanced schema markup and structured data implementation
Have experience with competitive analysis and market research for content gaps
