As Jacob's Head of Growth, your mission is to architect and lead the digital growth engine powering Jacob’s profitable growth while expanding our cultural footprint in clean eating and high-performance living. You will build the digital machine that makes Jacob a household name. This is a high-impact, high-energy role at the forefront of performance, digital storytelling, and cultural relevance.
While your actual responsibilities will be vast, and rapidly evolving as our business does, here is a high-level outline of your responsibilities:
- Own all paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google, Amazon, TikTok, affiliate) with full accountability for CAC, ROAS, and new customer growth.
- Lead and scale a team of internal and external media buyers, ensuring campaigns launch on time and meet performance targets.
- Design and implement creative testing frameworks that rapidly validate new hooks, formats, UGC, and influencer content across platforms.
- Integrate influencer and affiliate programs into paid acquisition strategy to maximize reach, social proof, and content leverage.
- Drive funnel optimization through landing page testing, CRO strategy, and A/B experimentation to boost conversion rates and AOV.
- Forecast growth and plan media budgets in partnership with Finance and Ops, aligning spend with revenue targets, contribution margin, and inventory constraints.
- Build performance dashboards and feedback loops to drive daily optimization, inform strategic bets, and uncover growth opportunities across the funnel.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations at a CPG company, with at least 1 year in a leadership or ownership role. (we are looking for someone who has previously done this in a similar/adjacent category)
- Full-stack paid media fluency across Meta, Google, Amazon, TikTok, and affiliate, with a track record of profitably scaling acquisition spend while managing CAC, ROAS, and LTV.
- Strong financial literacy with experience building growth forecasts, managing P&Ls, and partnering with Finance/Ops to tie spend to contribution margin and cash flow constraints.
- Advanced analytical skills: can pull and interpret data, build dashboards, and apply cohort, payback, and incrementality insights to strategic decisions.
- Proven team builder and manager: experienced in managing internal hires and external vendors, setting KPIs, and creating systems that scale.
- Experience building and implementing SOPs and introducing operational discipline to early-stage orgs.
- Please write “34” at the top of your cover letter.
- Creative performance mindset: understands UGC, hooks, editing frameworks, and how content drives conversion; able to brief and iterate rapidly with content and brand teams.
