David is led by CEO Peter Rahal, the Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader (equally visionary and tactical) who can coach teams, ship impactful work quickly, and make bold creative bets.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Reactionary leadership support: Identify problems quickly, fix them, and then empower teams to own the solution.

- Model accountability and ethical leadership in all decisions.
- Build systems and routines that keep the marketing team focused and efficient.
- Ensure seamless alignment between Marketing teams and the broader company.

- Develop integrated campaigns that bring the brand to life across product launches, retail, and cultural moments.
- Use consumer and cultural insights to inform storytelling.
- Ensure every touchpoint (from packaging to partnerships) reflects David’s identity and mission.
Performance Marketing
- Lead growth across paid and owned channels - balancing brand health with acquisition.
- Oversee advertising, media strategy, and budget allocation to drive full-funnel performance (awareness through conversion) across DTC and retail.
- Own and optimize key growth metrics, including awareness, consideration, CAC, LTV, retention, ensuring campaigns drive both cultural relevance and profitability.
- Partner with Finance to develop audience, segmentation, and messaging frameworks, continuously refining media mix and measuring incrementality.
- Establish operating rhythms that align growth, brand, and creative teams.
Social Media
- Lead organic, influencer, and partnership strategies that deepen community engagement and cultural relevance.
- Build a content and creator engine that fuels both growth and brand love.
- Cultivate authentic relationships with creators and partners who extend David’s presence in culture.
Creative
- Partner with our Creative Director to ensure world-class, distinctive creative output.
- Build and mentor a creative team that can move fast, prototype ideas, and produce best-in-class visual storytelling.
- Champion bold creative ideas that push the brand forward.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2+ in a management role.
- Experience scaling a consumer brand - ideally in fashion, lifestyle, fitness, or CPG.
- Deep fluency in both brand marketing and performance marketing.
- Proven ability to inspire creative excellence while driving measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of social and digital ecosystems from content strategy to analytics.
- A passion for storytelling, culture, and consumer psychology.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A bias toward action, experimentation, and learning.
- Humility, curiosity, and a drive to build an iconic consumer brand.

- Cash compensation: $200K–$300K per year, dependent on experience. Range is inclusive of bonus.
- Equity opportunity on top of cash compensation.
- 100% covered Health, Vision, Dental Insurance
- 401(k) with 4% match
