A new role to lead our reshaped brand & digital marketing team, focused on deliveringthe next stage of our brand and digital presence, and playing a key role in changing the way we show up in market. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs & Marketing, the role-holder will have a unique chance to help to drive the ongoing repositioning of the business as we continue our transformation journey.
Responsibility for our brand, creative, digital media and social channels, and the team who cultivate and grow them, as well as for guardianship of the TalkTalk brand
Working with the Director of Corporate Affairs & Marketing, help to define a new digitally focused marketing and content strategy focused on increasing speed to market, responsiveness, and in-house creativity
Responsible, with the Head of Communications & Shareholder Engagement, for managing PR strategy and ensuring its fit to our overall marketing strategy, with a particular focus on the power of our own content to drive SEO
Knowledge
Senior marketeer who has proven experience of consumer-facing roles, ideally in the telecoms or utilities space. Telecoms sector knowledge is desirable but not essential – if not, the right candidate will have a significant grasp of the market in which we operate and its challenges.
Skills
Combining a creative and a commercial mindset will be key to the success of this role. Proven ability to understand the importance of brand building and digital media to continued corporate growth.
Experience
Experiencedin data and the use of analytics tools and digital platforms, as well as managing and nurturing creatives to the point of delivery. The ability to help to provide counsel and direction to senior executives is highly desirable. A marketeer who is comfortable juggling different stakeholders at the same time as managing agency partners to deliver the best outcome at the right price.
